1 more striker, but not sure what we'd be after. If its a back up then what are the others, if its a first choice then who drops out? Also at least 1 more central midfielder & maybe a winger cover that can play either side.
When I look at the strikers we have I can only think that we've really missed out by not getting Hooper or Austin.
With you on Austin, but I think we might have got Hooper - except Brucey and the Allams wouldn't play silly buggers with our budget.
1 midfielder I think, Scot Parker (if there is any truth in the story) would be great if we can afford him. Also not sure about the strikers? shame about Charlie Austin, I'd have a bit more confidence if he had come, I hope he does not prove the medics wrong at QPR (should not say that though, I'm just being selfish - I wish him well).
I think I've said this before, but it you were to ask 1000 city fans what position we need to strengthen, the majority would say striker. I think it's something to do with wanting to see goals. Having lots of strikers doesn't guarantee goals. Bruce I think will be content to have Sagbo, Aluko, Boyd, Brady, Fryatt, Graham and Proschwitz covering those positions. We need midfielders, at least 2.
I think Sagbo, aluko n graham will all score 5-10, i also still have faith in prossy and if hes given a run of games could be our most prolific st.
We need a playmaker. Whether that's a deep lying or an attacking playmaker, I don't really care. I'd just love us to have a player that can pick up the ball and dictate play. Throw in an enforcer to look after him and I'd be happy enough with the balance of the team. Then we take stock of where we are come the january window...
If we went all out for Huddlestone then you'd have both your playmaker/enforcer requests in one player.
