I think people are missing the point. If given the choice I wouldn't want the name change but I'm not as bothered by it currently to protest or anything else. I think the booing was in protest of the protesting, every game and anti name changers getting on a high horse and acting like they are the only proper fans (not everyone). I didn't boo but I think it was fans letting the ctwd campaign they don't speak for everyone. I didn't boo and don't agree with it but I think it was in protest of a protest.
Good post and I must say I agree with most of it...... but how can you say that we lose our history? History is written in the books and in your memories as it is in mine it will never be erased, or wiped out no matter what any one who owns the club decides to do with it they CANNOT erase history. all of us will remember the cold dark days watching city in the wind and rain and also the good days of promotion from Div 3 on a record breaking season in '66 beating Norwich 5.1 in the Cup on a Wed night at BP Friday night trouncing of Northampton 6.1 and many more too many to mention these days will never be wiped out that is history its yours to cherish no one can take it away from you or anyone of us.
