I'm sure I posted back in January with Cabaye gone,out of cup so season over but never really thought it was so.I hold my head in shame.

 

What the stats basically say to me is if we continue how we are we are certainties for relegationnext year.. plain and simple.
The table right now is a false position as we're diniing out on that great purple patch around Xmas.

You don't get Mikes plan ACS. We are certainties if we stay as we are. We won't, we'll sign just enough to get points on the baord in the early part of the season, sell a top player or two in January, and then gently slide back down the table hopefully nestling in mid table or just below. Repeat, repeat, repeat until the end of time.

 

Simply put - it's Premier League advertising and exposure at minimal cost. There is no set minimum - we've discovered that this season has "cost" less than nothing. Next season will cost a bit more than that, but not a lot more. Mike's discovered the loan system now, I suspect we'll dip in to two or three of the bigger clubs for their reserves.

 

It's not quite just a case of selecting random dates to play with statistics. January is a relevant date: its the date when clubs are capable of improving or weakening their squads through transfers. We weakened ours. Our weakened team has failed 4th worst since that weakening, rendering the stat somewhat relevant.

Was just looking at Palace to see if they had a remote chance of pushing us to the hallowed ground of 11th, but they've got to play Man City and Liverpool in their last four games, so by utter luck it would seem that we will finish 10th.

That's unbearable for me - an utter lack of direction, a disgusting set of results, a useless/worthless manager and the fcking lot of 'em will get bonuses!!!!!!

 

Ah you've stumbled on the final part of Mike's plan. Weaken just enough to drop out the top 10 and save on the bonus payments. Ok that is stretching it but he is a ****.

I think this is why the fans are so disillusioned, its the lack of ambition and direction. If we can get to where we did in the early part of the season, where could we have gone if we'd strengthened instead of weakened?

Palace 6 points behind. Away to West Ham on Saturday. Could be a gap of 3 by Saturday night. Finishing 11th and possibly being rid of that smarmy twat Pardew may be on the cards.
