:emoticon-0102-bigsm you're not wrong. What's Robert Earnshaw upto these days? Probably the only one who'll come. He'll be about 50 now so fits the bill <laugh>

See I think Steele is a good shot stopper but useless commanding his box. Ruiter can command his box but keys in goals my 7 year old daughter could catch!! Who is the lesser of the evils.

Mannone asked to leave. Completely his decision as he was apparently treated badly by Moyes and the club generally

I hope he goes for Danny ward he doesn't get near the Liverpool team yet he was brilliant for Huddersfield whilst on loan last season. And he's welsh

You must be too young to remember the nightmare of Seamus McDropit (McDonagh)

Always had ruiter down as the better keeper between the two, now it seems they're trying to outdo each other.

Surely can't keep his place against villa.

That’s a good shout mate he always looks rock solid and must’ve frustrated he never gets a look in despite the deficiencies of Karius and Mignolet.

I mean it doesn’t have to be a Welshman but we all know initially at least people tend to go with folk they trust and that’s 3 very good keepers we’ve listed.

I genuinely think he will go for Hennessey he’s given him 70 plus caps.

Ian Hesford would currently rank above these two clowns, so what does that say about Mika ! It's strange that Ruiter looked so good in pre-season, and even yesterday he made a save that probably saved a point, but in a game that we should have won, and needed to win looking at the table.

The worst thing was Grabban's disallowed goal, why was it not given ? As for goalies we had the best since 1985 (Pickford), then the worst ever in the space of a couple of months, we should re sign Manone in Jan or even Given at his age is better than them clowns. Also just add that the defence wall could have helped him a bit more.

Mannone was playing for Reading yesterday so I guess that he may not be available.
Given would be a fair shout however much he is past his best he is going to be better than we have.
The snag though is that he hasn't played, as far as I know, this Season and it might take him time, something we don't have, to get into condition. If he is unattached though we COULD sign him now.

But there must be promising Keepers on Prem Books where their Clubs would be delighted to get them some first Team experience, much like we were with Pickford.

They are both obviously competent goalkeepers otherwise they would not have progressed to where they are now.. However, they are both obviously very low on confidence which is not helped one bit by our so called fans who ridicule them at every opportunity.
