Kenny comes in as the temporary stop gap to steady the ship until the end of the season seems to me to be the obvious choice! A panic sacking followed by a panic recruitment is not the way to do things especially at a club of Liverpool's stature.
Rafa until the end of the season for me. See how he does. Wants to be at the club, is a hollistic manager who looks to improve the club on all levels, is loyal and a tactical master. Hppe he comes bak. If not, then id wsnt de boer. I want someone with a genuine affinity for yhe club
Unlike you lot with Moyes, we weren't fickle at all. The Chelsea fans didn't want Rafa before or after the Europa League win. The polar opposite of fickle actually. Massive fail from a massive wally
did you lot want a) grant b) anchelotti c) AVB d) di matteo or finally e) while you waited for mourinho beneitz. hmmmmmm... no not fickle at all.
Why on earth would Simeone be interested in leaving a top 3 club in the strongest league in Europe for a mid-table Premiership team without a single world class player? There's challenging yourself and there's committing professional suicide. Klopp was hardly a quivering mess when he broke the Bayern stranglehold on the Bundesliga and took Dortmund to the CL final. Not sure why moving to a smaller club would suddenly bring out his weaker side, unless you mean he's not used to dealing with such spectacularly deluded fans - but that would apply to all managers?
Someone going to ban this muppet? Its obviously Londons Only 2nd account, he even logs on at the same times
Am sure a moderator can confirm that I am not using the same IP addresses as any other site users. Feel free to happily wallow in the delusion that Simeone would be overwhelmed by the idea of jumping ship halfway through the defence of La Liga with the club he played for for a good part of his career to manage a team containing Glen Johnson and Joe Allen.
If Rodgers was sacked right now we'd have all the United and Everton fans (or just tobes who covered both options) on here telling us how great a manager he was and how we're stupid for sacking him... But like how when Suarez left he was a world class player
Dream on. I've been saying Rodgers is a #fraud who'd get found out in due course for well over a year. As it stands I'd love him to stay a bit longer though and finish the job he's started Oh and I never said Suarez was anything other than top drawer, just that he was a gold plated ****
My point is we should approach him and see if he's interested before he is snapped up by another club. Do we have the pull that we used to? Maybe not but let's not kid ourselves as to Athleticos status. We have to look for the best possible replacement should Rodgers go and IMO Simeone is it.
You were also confident that Liverpool could challenge for the title this season and that Rodgers' signings were not steaming piles of turd, so I think my point is pretty much proven.
Luckily, we have many decent options: Rafa Simeone Klopp Capello Pulis (I am not joking) Kenny as interim, in case total disaster strikes early.
If Rodgers is sacked I would only want Rafa to replace him Call him a negative manager if you want but he builds from the back first. Once the defence is sorted he would then look at the attack. He would want full control of transfers though
Yes but he did make you look like hypocrites as you havent dished out the same abuse to etoo or Cesc who both insulted Chelsea in the past
Agree with that. One week Moyes had his own song next week there were planes flying over Old Trafford asking for him to be sacked
I will call him a negative manager because he never really looked at the attack. He spunked money on Keane, Aquilani, Babel, Morientes, Pennant, Riera. He had personal issues with the players, indulged in power struggles (which he did at Valencia too) and refused to take any blame for poor results. No thank you. I'd rather take Kenny on an interim basis until we get someone better in.
