    Not particularly keen on this.

I see no reason to suggest he will be any better than Rodgers.

He could attract better players I supposed through his reputation.

The USA do play with nice style and do well considering their lacks of stars. But international football is very different.

Too right, you have an eternity on the ball, especially if you are in a US qualification group where the best team you will meet is Mexico. Rep of Ireland recently slaughtered the US. <yikes>
Don't want Jurgen in a million years

<peacedove>Brendan Rodgers it is time to go.
Worst start for 50 years NOT acceptable,

    Brendan Rodgers should:

    1.Resign.
    2.Should be sacked,
    3.Don't know

I happen to think if we would have lost that then opinion on Rodgers would have sunk to a new low.

  9. I don't. Arsenal have a better team and squad than us. they are one of the favourites for top four, we're not. The only thing in our favour today was us being at home.

Or Costa Rica who beat Italy & Uruguay and drew with England. And took the Netherlands to penalties.

No sympathy for Rodgers - keep picking players like Lucas, Gerrard and Skrtel. Or playing Marko and Hendeson as wing backs when you have Manquillo and Moreno on the bench.

Refusal to bring in a defensive coach.

I hope the owners are on the phone to De Boer now!

After spending close 120 mil, If we are not having a better squad than them or not one of favourites for top4 then Rodgers surely must be blamed.

The fact we are lying 10th with half the season gone, is an even worse scenario. No manager was given this much leeway, this is the worst start we've had in more than 50years. To outdo even Hodgson takes some doing. How on earth is Rodgers NOT to be blamed.

Why are you now turning against Lucas? His inclusion has clearly improved the team balance.

You're right, I'm being harsh on Lucas. I think he has come in and done a job.

However, he is still not good enough. He's the best of a bad bunch. He wasn't good enough for Rafa's best teams, he hardly played last season when we finished 2nd. He only stands out in poor teams.

3 years and Rodgers hasn't sorted out the defence, and I don't see him ever sorting this out without help.

I think you'll find Costa Rica are usually s**t, they played well above themselves and they were also well rested too, the majority of the teams in Brazil looked knackered by the 3rd game of the group stage.

The heat suited Costa Rica too<whistle>
