Would you have Reina back if he openly apologised?

Even if he did, we can't afford him on 100k a week with Mig as well.

Ideal world let them fight if out but I'd rather that 100k and £5m transfer went towards a lb or cm.

I voted "Yes"- and I wouldn't even require an apology.

However, that is purely from a "I think he is a little better than Migs" standpoint.

I understand that a big motivation in Rodgers kicking Reina out the door was he was on a higher wage. I think Reina is a much better fit in how Rodgers wants the team to play than Migs- but its obvious he's never coming back... not whilst Rodgers is manager anyway.

No. While I rate Reina and think at this point that he is still marginally better (overall) than Mignolet, he doesn't want to be here. He doesn't want to be first choice let alone second choice.

He's at the prime of his career at 31 (32 this season) and won't accept "fighting for his place".

I do miss him but he left Liverpool with a choice and Brendan took the one for the future. Unfortunate for a great servant to the club but in the end it was HIS choice to flirt with Barcelona and pretty much force us to look for a replacement before he changed his mind/Valdes changed it for him.

What was B-Rod supposed to do? When Reina said "I'm probably leaving/I'd love to play for Barcelona *cough cough Valdes is gone*" he had to make a choice. He could either sit there twiddling his thumbs until Reina left (leaving us in a bad spot in the market), or he could look for a replacement. He chose Mignolet and once the negotiations started he couldn't quite tell Migs to forget about it. Afterwards Reina was a luxury we didn't need/couldn't afford.

He's gone now and that's the end of it. We'll get a few million for him and he'll move to a nicer climate and play CL football himself.
