It doesn't matter a maggots ejaculation who thinks we are a big, medium or small club does it because the OFFICIAL guide tells us we are 12h biggest so pee off the lot of you,we are laughing at you. We are top four and 12th biggest...OFFICIAL.
Indeed. One is normally used to a far better class of Wum on this site, than this idiot. The more infantile ones, such as him, normally gravitate to ja606. Myself, I do appreciate a bit more of a challenge than this child presents.
I still think that if, come Xmas, 'Pool are still at the foot of the table, their Yank owner would do well to sack Rodgers, get Carroll back from the Spanners, and appoint Big Sam to employ his hoofball tactics in a desperate last gasp to avoid the drop. It won't be pretty, and it won't be the 'Pool "way" but at least it would give them a chance of one more season in top-flight football. I know I'll probably get wummed for suggestion this by the Mousers, but please do try not to shoot the messenger. This is a discussion board, after all.
In all seriousness though I do agree with you to a lesser extent. There is no way Liverpool have the players to play teams off the park. I reckon the following teams: Arsenal Chelsea City United Everton Spurs WBA Fulham Newcastle Swansea Wigan QPR Southampton Pretty much all have technically superior midfields. So for certain only Stoke, West Ham, Villa and Reading are technically inferior to them. With Drogba gone, Carroll IMO is now the best aerial threat bar none and if Liverpool were to play to his strengths and build the team around him rather than Suarez I reckon they'd fair much better. I've never thought Carroll was as bad as people make out myself.
I don't think he's wrong with Newcastle, they have a good midfield. Everton are about on a par i would say. But Liverpool beat the others (on paper)
The question isn't quality; it's technique. If they play a three of Tiote, Jonas and Cabaye they have one technically excellent player.
