No, apparently a car did meet a plane from USA and go to St james's. However, it is believed that the individual was from Peter Kenyons Group of potential buyers. Have also seen some twitter feeds saying an announement will be made this week. I appreciate we've all heard these rumours before but hopefully one will turn out to be true. Even the Fat One says 4 potential bidders.

Makes no sense especially after today's result were in a relegation battle. If anyone was going to spend 300 million they'd have both the patience and brains to think it's better to wait a few months to see if the club's still in the premier league

If that fat twat told me grass was green and the sky was blue, id still go out and have a look. It is Ashleys ham-fisted attempt at getting a bigger price. This is the reason that negotiations that include him fall apart ......................... he is an uneducated oaf.

Plus has Ashley actually stated 4 bidders? He said that talks were 'not exclusive' and media reports subsequently have stated 4 but has Ashley actually said that?

No - you negotiate now as the deal should be better. Ashley has two choices:

    1) sell now while we are relegation candidates but before you have to plough in the money to keep us up (which might not work anyway)
    2) leave it till we are safe, having spent money, hope we stay up and hope that someone is willing to pay the mark-up you would add

Its like deciding to renovate your house or get the scratches off your car before you sell it - or in our case the spruce up the outdoor ****ter or paint the Lada.
