Brilliant, probably the greatest upset in sporting history, almost certainly in football anyway ! Gives hope to every smaller club that the impossible can become reality,if you think back 12 months it's almost more amazing. To think that they were almost relegated, the turnaround is mindboggling. The starkest fact is between them and us,below us 2 Christmas' ago, just look at the chasm between the 2 clubs now.One are champions of the top flight, the other are mid table in the 2nd tier! Happy for Leicester, but angry at the direction our club has gone in.

I hope Spurs win tomorrow, Leicester can win it in front of their fans next week. Hopefully it will keep this foxy fan happy.
I wished I'd stuck a pound on them.

Congratulations to Leicester, I wonder what odds you'd get for them holding on to the title next season?! I think there will be a lot of business in the summer with the big clubs thinking it is time to spend even more to try and get their hands on the trophy.

All we need is Palarse to do Manure in the FA Cup final to make it an underdog double.

At the start of this thread I was speculating as to whether Leicester winning the PL might generate new fans overseas.
I'm informed by a neice who is currently working in Thailand that with every Leicester win, there is free Sangha Beer (owned by the family that also own Leicester). I suppose that is a good way to start - as well as winning the PL of course!!

It will be hard for them as they will have to bring in quite a few players. They have been fortunate not to have had too many injuries or suspensions this season and will be very lucky to do the same next. With the added pressure of Champions League football they will need to boost the squad and do more rotation.

Very few seem to get squad rotation right. There are always top names that seem to play very little and get fed up and disillusioned because they don't play as much as they would like. It is very difficult to run a harmonious ship when there are those that feel hard done by.

Only slightly less fascinating than Leicester winning the PL is to speculate what level they will achieve next year.
    Completely unpredictable.

The owners have said they want to keep the squad together. Doubtless some big pay rises will help. I hope the players most sought after by other clubs - Vardy, Kante and Mahrez, possibly Drinkwater too - recognise that the 'dream move' often doesn't work, becoming another face in a squad of prima donnas with fans who moan unless you win everything and the chances of sitting on the bench are very high. They have the big adventure of the Champions League, fans who will worship them however **** they are. I hope they give Leicester another season, it will be fascinating to watch. Plus the 'big' PL clubs will still be in transition next season, Spurs probably favourites if they can sort their self control out and keep their best players, who knows Southampton, West Ham as well as Leicester could be in with a shout.

Another huge factor in all of that is surely Ranieri himself who has turned out to be a very Wily Fox indeed.

33/1 Leicester to win the Premier League next season! A bit different to 5000/1 lol,Burnley are 2500/1 the biggest outsiders at the moment.I don't think you'll ever see 5000/1 about any team ever again after this!

Yes he has but I would ask the question, how much credit goes to Nigel Pearson? He recruited most of the players and had them playing fantastically at the end of last season to keep them up. At the same time, Ranieri was losing his job as the coach of the Greek national team. To me, Pearson deserves huge credit too.

In a few years time the players will be able to tell us who did what. Pearson is a weirdo, I'm happy for all the credit to go to Ranieri, regardless of whether he deserves it or not. Just contrast their behaviour at press conferences.

Already PL bigwigs going on about how fantastic this is for marketing the league in *****lia and Paraguay. Just **** off and stop thinking about money for a few seconds, this is about a team, not a product.
