I've just found out that midfielder Paul Cairney, Partick Thisle player of the year, is a target for Hibs & Aberdeen as his contract runs out this month. Seems to have good stats, but I haven't got up to see the Jags this season. Might be worth a punt. Boab, Simon, either of you managed to see him in action/got feedback?
Nah mate sorry, I can only get to watch the better Jags that play in the SPL Speaking of which, there are some good young Caley players that might be worth a shot.
Get Warnock told, Simon !!! I mentioned Cairney for a few reasons, notably that he's notched 15 goals this season. Not bad for a midfielder, especially since the highest tally for our strikers is 13 !!
Ive watched De Laet a few times (mainly cos my mate told me he was decent) last season for Sheffield Utd he was awful, no positional sense couldnt head the ball and mistimed tackles (he was quick) Ive seen him for Norwich this season cost them a goal on one of the occassions but if Leicester think hes worth 1.5 million he must definitely be worth at least 250k
Im sorry but you could harldy have picked a worse list of new players than that! (+ we'd never get clyne or andrews) Andy Johnson Paul Scharner Zat Knight Michael Kightly They'd be my picks
It's all about opinions Logi My picks were on the basis that they could be moulded into a team and would not have a problem plying their trade in the Championship at LUFC - a very strong spine, speed, stamina, ruthlessness plus one or two adding real creativity. Plus I added in the costs at £ per week, and the whole squad came to £10m per year, bang on budget. If they would not come for that money, then they just think too highly of themselves, and I would move on to others. If they can't pass a fitness test, also forget them. Your 4 are all Prem players though Logi - unreasonable desires from your part I would suggest
I know mate and thats just mine Cant see how the likes of ****tu and sidibie have speed or stamina though. Theyre way past it. And theyre all gunna be free agents though so who knows
