Well said Chirpy, Stoke truly do bring shame into the game, and I don't know how they can live with themselves playing the way they do, and supporting it through their fans. But that's football I guess, win at all costs, even to the game itself.

Like I care what you think, whether you're 12 or 120. Yesterday was an affront to the game of football on many levels, if that doesn't bother you, fine.

It wasn't just a bad day, it was an appalling day and it ruined our first faint hopes of a title challenge in the Prem era. You don't know how that feels, you've won what three titles and challenged many times, this was our chance of our day in the sun. Smashed by anti-football and incompetence on a grand scale. That hurts so much, you'll never know that feeling. Lucky you <ok>

Referees should be bending over backwards to help us in the quest to win the title in the right way with good football and no billionaire backing to buy the title. Instead, we were just tossed aside because the ref, seemingly, got into a strop because he was making so many mistakes and couldn't control his emotions.

Ghoddle10, how as 1 defeat at stoke thrown you out of the title race?

YOU WERE NEVER ****ING IN IT TO BEGIN WITH

Yes the ref was bad, but so was your defence in the first half, SHUT THE **** UP & MAN UP. You lost a game of football, that was all.

Instead of swearing and acting like I imagine many Stoke fans to be, why don't you try reading what I've written. I suspect you have a poor grasp of comprehension to add to your lack of vocabulary, but I'll put it in big letters for you, AS YOU SEEM TO LIKE CAPS.

I NeVER SAID WE WERE TITLE CONTENDERS, I SAID IF WE WON THIS ONE WE WOULD BE. WE DIDN'T and THEREFORE WE AREN'T!!!!!

WE DIDN'T JUST LOSE A GAME OF FOOTBALL WE WERE ROBBED BY THE OFFICIALS AND YOUR 'ANTI-FOOTBALL'.

IT IS A TERRIBLE DAY FOR FOOTBALL IN GENERAL, WHEN TEAMS OF BEAUTY, FLAIR AND SKILL ARE FELLED BY BRUTE FORCE AND INJUSTICE <ok>

Do you have some past agenda with my football club?

Because on every thread that has been posted on here since your DEFEAT, you seem to have an (anger) issue with SCFC?

Well said Ensil. Of course I have a past agenda with Stoke TMH, you've been kicking and fouling us for years now. Don't you remember what happened last year at the Britannia when Foy was in charge and gave your players, Huth being one, licence to foul Gomes every which way they fancied.

Don't you remember your 1-0 win at the Lane, one of the worst displays of anti-football ever. You only decided to attack near the end when you'd kicked us down to 10 men, and just worn away our spirit with your constant war of attrition.

Tell me, how can you live with yourself, supporting a team that plays like Stoke do?

Spurs fans would never, ever accept it. It goes completely against our ethos of the glory game and winning by playing good football.

    Did you get 3 points?

Did Stoke fans go home happy?

Do we actually give a **** about playing tippy tappy football?

If it's in your box, can you score?

Where does it say in the rules that you have to play possession carpet football?

With respect, you come across as a typical pompous, arrogant "up yourself" North Londoner - the similarities with your superior, resurgent neighbours are remarkable.

Congratulations on your traditions of playing great football. No Stoke fan will deny that you're good to watch, but to imply that that you deserved to win the game based on the fact you keep the ball on the deck is somewhat childish. Half of your possession was on the half-way line - I don't find that particularly entertaining to watch.

If we go to WHL later in the season and play tippy-tappy, open football and you beat us 5-0, no doubt you'll be applauding us for the way we rolled over for your world-beating side to score past us at will. I'd rather be hated after getting three points than praised to high heaven and end up in the Championship (Hull, Blackpool, Burnley....I could go on).

How about deserving to win for scoring more legitimate goals, then?
Your first should've been chalked off for Crouch's handball and Adebayor scored a perfectly good one.

If the crouch Handball would have been given, then all these conversations would be pointless, as the game would have taken a different direction, we maybe have been 4 up at half time, with the **** defending you had on show at the time.

    RE: Pottermouth

What about your second goal? What about it? It was fine. That's one. We scored two legitimate goals, but the ref chalked one off.

There are lucky games, like ours against Fulham and there are utterly ridiculous ones, like yesterday's.
Foy made countless mistakes, virtually all of which were against us and a lot were very important.
Handballs, fouls in the box, disallowed goals... the list became pretty stupid towards the end.

    RE: The Mighty Huth Rocks

We don't know what could have happened, so we can only go on what actually did happen.
You started the game well, we started horribly, then Foy took over.
