I'm afraid The Telegraph disagree to put their words in a nutshell it's not that Stoke played to their strengths it was the fact they played to Tottenham's weakness.

Your twelveth man on the pitch for the full 90+min was our weekness.

Yet you moan at every single opportunity on the Stoke forum about our manager and style of play. I'd say you probably grudgingly accepted those two trips to Wembley rather than enjoyed them, if the majority of your posts are anything to go by.

Cheers for that info Chirpy, so that's allowed from the 4th official.
Of course with more belief and application we could have turned Stoke over, but we showed enough belief and application to do so, however the ref robbed us blind.

I'm so pleased you're a bunch of losers and no-marks.

One trophy in over a hundred years, I so hope your next hundred is completely trophyless.

Two trips to Wembley, we've been there over twenty times, and guess what we've won 8 FA Cups and 4 Lge Cups to your meagre one Lge Cup.

    And Europe hilarious.

    We've won 3 European trophies - you - none -

We've been to ten or more quarter finals - Stoke still none

the gulf between our great club and your insignificant club is huge, and then some <ok>

Foy and his blind line-o turned us over. Your lot just happened to be on the same pitch.

I was going to reply with a WUM comment this morning but after reading *some* of the comments on this board...
It looks like someone beat me to it. fecking ell Ghoddle do you hold grudge's or are you like this all of the time.

It's NOT the fans fault YOU lost take it out on the ref (no wait) you already did that.. well send the F.A. a letter of
complaint then (no you have done that before)

Why don't you do us all a favour, and beat Sunderland. You can't win the title NOW your words not mine, I read them Ghoddle <laugh>

Thank you for making me smile on a Monday morning.

I'm glad I cheered you up on a Monday morning PM. Your team plus Foy and co have left me feeling very sad and depressed. A little bit of me died yesterday, and I'm still grieving over it.

Your fans are a disgrace with their moronic whistling when a team is attempting to play football, a concept clearly alien to you.

Your team is a disgrace with your constant fouling, cheating and anti-football. I will always resent teams that try to destroy the beautiful game as Stoke do. As I say, I probably have twenty years at best on this planet, but as long as I live and haven't fallen victim to Alzheimers or some such I will wish relegation on your side.

You must be really proud that you have ended the title hopes of a team that try to play football the proper way. Well done, enjoy your tawdry, immoral victory at the expense of flair and beauty.

Well thank you kind sir for you promt reply..
WHY did I know it would ONLY take few minutes for you too bite <doh>

    YOU wish us relegation? WHY
OUR team is a disgrace WHY?
Constant fouling get a grip, I HAVE LESS than 20 years left on this planet too but, at least I will enjoy them not wish ill on all fellow football fans.

We were whistling because it looked a dodgy pen re Modric.. IMO it was it was given I am OVER that.

You tried to play football first half Ghoddle? and FAILED even Arry said as much or don't you listen?

Ended your title hopes? YOU think Spurs were good enough BEFORE yesterday? I don't but that's my own view.

You have posted numerous comments about Mr Foy that's fair enough.

But, WHY take it out on me, the rest of the Stoke fans(i've read your comments Ghoddle) it's NOT our fault Mr Foy missed the
    obvious.
YOU are NOT the only club to suffer for stupid ref's decisions, Lino' s oh and the 4th officials.

I wish the vast majority of decent Spurs fans all the best... you clearly need to get over your bitterness.
I doubt you have met too many Stoke fans, certainly not me. Yet you choose to insult me, my club
our Manager, our player's and wish us relegation.

All I can say is... Good luck to Spurs, you will no doubt get decisions (go for you) what goes around comes around.

As far as I am concerned GOOD LUCK to Spurs and the fans and of course Arry.

YOU GHODDLE can DO ONE sir! It's a game Ghoddle nothing more ONE game, we've had numerous pts taken away because of similar decision (all teams do) but hey, we're over it.

Whinge away, and apolgies to the decent Spurs fans for my French <ok>
And like Waddo, the Welsh M won't waste my time with another response you are not worth the effort Ghoddle.

Your club's fans were whistling OUR WHOLE TEAM way before the penalty, you really weren't paying attention were you?

You did it LAST SEASON as well. Your fans create a culture that applauds your cynical tactics, if you're happy with that then fine. Your players clearly play to instructions, so what should I do, just say 'that's all right then, there's more than one way to bake a cake'?

What good does Stoke's approach do for football - just ask yourself that.

I've never actually met a Stoke fan, there are very few of you outside the Potteries. Unlike us, you're not a big club with a big global fan base, and you'll never get one playing the way you do.

I suppose we'll never meet, but obviously we wouldn't get on, because you would defend the indefensible. It's what football fans do, I know that. But there's an unbridgeable gulf between me and any Stoke fan who thinks the way your team carries on is the way football should be played.

I'll make my way through the rest of my little life as best as I can, but at least I won't be burdened with having to watch a team that seeks to destroy rather than create.

Must admit, before yesterday's debacle, I had a grudging admiration for Stoke, I admired their giant killing and never say die attitude. I hadn't watched them much to be fair. After seeing the way they go about business, the antics of the likes of Shawcross and the baying of the crowd (no it's not something that happens at most other grounds) I wouldn't be that disappointed to see them slip out of the Prem. You reap what you sow and your fans' attitude to our side yesterday was appalling.

Did it help to sway a ref ill equiped to deal with such an atmosphere? Almost certainly. Although it earned you three points, it also bought your club no credit at all. The manner of the win and behaviour of your fans and your team was no victory at all.

    Shameful.

By the way, it is only one game and three points lost. The season is a long one and better to break a winning sequence now than let the pressure build until it is something we can't deal with. Our ambitions should remain unchanged. COYS
