Irrespective of that, he knew what people may think when he did his 'salute'... Therefore is, at best, reckess and therefore a liability.
Most decent mackems wouldn't want a picture of PDC flicking a salute with a SAFC flag around him surely?

what about all the Labour voters in the north east who hold racist views but sit in the stands at your club alongside you? Sunderland and Newcastle have historically been known as two of the most racist fans in the country for a long long time.

Di Canio would never be allowed to manage a Serie A club. Not even in present day Italy, not even Lazio would touch him.

The fascist salute is a criminal offence and his beloved Duce's National Fascist Party is banned by law.

Where the hell did you get the notion that Sunderland and Newcastle fans are the most racist fans? That is outright bull ****.

If DiCanio is successful then he will be welcomed into serie A with open arms.

Italy is the most corrupt, fickle and vain of countries, that why the mafia runs most of it - look at Berlusconi - if you honestly think this then you are naive beyond words.

And I do not think we will see any such salute from him in the future, I suspect this is a case of lesson learned - when was this 1995 - nearly twenty years ago without any other instance - if he was a murderer he would be back on the streets.

This is being used as a stick to beat us with by the usual suspects.
