    Are we at a stage of who is prepared to call the others bluff.

    I am certain we'll be rid of the clown by this Christmas. Whether he still has a financial interest in The Valley is another matter.

    If Roland keeps the Valley expect the Aussies to brief their mouthpieces to blame Roland for imposing it on them, not the fact that they couldn't afford to buy it lock stock and barrel..

    I think what Billy is saying here Elf is that we could be in a situation of "frying pan and fire" when it comes to the new potential owners lying to us like the current ones have <ok>

    @CAFC'sBestInterests called it months ago.

    Its the wrong type of takeover, with the wrong type of new owner.

    Imagine the Press Conference after our team of kids lose 6-0 at Sunderland on the opening day.

    "Blimey Lee, that must have been painful watching"

    "It was Olly, but lets look on the bright side...the Takeover thread has now got 1500 pages"

    <doh>

    It all looks incredibly risky. Muir is seriously minted but will only put a limited amount of his own money in. Ring any bells? We are hearing that if he doesn't fork out for the Valley he will have money for players to get us promotion, and he must feel that this is more or less guaranteed.Ring any bells? So what about the development of Sparrows lane, there won't be money for that, and Roland has no interest in developing it now. Atm things look precarious.

    Sad to see just some of the things that make Charlton supporters happy these days...

    Celebrating the achievements of Ex players was doing the rounds a few weeks back on twitter..<doh>

    It's this type of thing that makes me yearn for an owner that can buck the trend...

    I think I'm right in saying that planning permission will never be granted on Sparrows Lane.

    @AllHellLetLoose would never tolerate it, his dog would go barking mad.

    Greenwich Council would never allow a housing development at Sparrows!

    No, I was referring to the development which Roland originally planned to make us a cat1 academy. Hard to see much money going into that, whatever happens. A great white elephant really.

    A quick summary of where we are at today -

    Everyone is leaking partial information that paints them in a positive light.

    Apart from the Australians, the sun shines out of their arses.
