C'mon, we've had a start/stop season with numerous international breaks. Only just completed our 12th league match with a "new" eleven, give the management time and they'll fit Adel in there somehow.

Keep him, brilliant squad player to have :1980_boogie_down: Bring him on in the odd game, and maybe, just maybe he'll come good some day. I still believe in him, and actually think he will surprise us all, but not until the African Cup of Nations are finished.

    Agree with Norway!
Adel was star of the show against Newcastle..the standout player in a new team of stars.
I don't think any of the shortcomings since then were predictable or "always going to happen", it's merely a coincidence of cricumstances that have meant he hasn't performed.
Remember the number of times he hit the post in our first few games?
On the face of things, selling somebody who's out of form for big bucks makes sense.
But do we necessarily need the money anymore?
Tony et al. seem to already be well equipped in that department, so i'm happy to hold onto Taraabt for a bit if he's got one or two "preston moments" left in him..

Norway. Sadly I don't agree that he's a good squad player because good squad players don't sulk when it's not going their way, talk of leaving to any European club that he can think of and (if the rumours are true) won't put in the effort in training to prove his worth.

Agree Adel is a great talent but I don't think his suspect temperament is right for a hard working and focused group of players that the current crop are becoming.

I love Adel to bits, but after today's performance we should be celebrating the players on the pitch today!

Well put together there Norway. Maybe just maybe there's still time for him with us but he's got to get his head straight or no one will have him.
