Saw a comment from OLM that the global threads like the one about plastic fans are full of Jeremy Kyle contenders/viewers, couldn't agree more, is there any way on the settings to turn off global threads would rather read just our board?

They're not Global threads, they're threads that have been posted on our board and also copied to General Chat.
If people post their articles just on here, then there's no issue, but if they're posted on here and General Chat, then everyone can see them.

Right, thanks for the explanation. There are some complete fools on the plastic fans thread, was reading again, makes our board look very civilised indeed. I don't use the rest of the forum apart from the F1 page as I've noticed in general sections it just seems to be a load of idiots calling each other names.
