It's interesting how the tone and dynamic of a discussion about the behaviour of a tiny number of a club's fans changes so much when it's a supporter of said club who actually starts the thread. Nice one Drogs.
Very hard to know what Chelsea are supposed to do. It's not like a football club can stop UK citizens travelling from London to Paris. It's also very possible that none or only a small handful actually had tickets that they got from the club through the official channels. Sure they'll ban those who did have tickets if they can be identified but they can't really be held responsible for that kind of idiocy.
If that was a few lashed up eejits on their way to see a rolling Stones concert would the band be blamed? No, of course they wouldn't.

So what was the chant "Anton Ferdinand we know what you are" about? Were you deaf for that game? We all know what your fans meant by it. You fans also supported that racist muppet JT so what does tell you about your culture at the club?
As i said not blaming all your fans and if you see what other racist stuff goes on in French football then this really is a massive storm in a tea cup.
Agreed! Other than condemning the idiots and banning them from our stadium, there isnt much else we can do.
Its up to the Police to sort out these issues.

Chelsea fans support JT because he claims he didnt make a racist comment and that Anton got the wrong end of the stick, so Chelsea fans naturally pissed at Anton for getting our captain banned for nothing, especially when he was found innocent in Court.
QPR fans on the other hand will believe Anton because he was their player and they will believe HIS claims....
It aint rocket science. it was 6 of one half a dozen of the other, and its over...let it die a death.

Sorry Bod - yes I did see that soemthing like that had gone up and of course it's going to take a different path.
Regardless though just found it interesting about how scathing people are prepared to be - quite different to what some people might perceive to be the case.
Anton Ferdinand is a **** and that's what we were chanting but no doubt you'll wish to turn it into something else. JT was found not guilty in a court of law of racism, case over move on. Although the ****s brother racially abused Ashley Cole which shows the calibre of that family hence the name.....****.
There's a higher % of idiots at Chelsea than at most clubs sadly but this is more about mud-slinging than the actual issue of racism for most. What we saw in Paris was racism in its purest form, not the watered down everyday rubbish we've become conditioned to accepting as racism.

We have had a few racist scumbags come out of the woodwork lately.
Whether this is just a coincidence, or we have a higher ratio of these idiots amongst our fanbase, I don't know.
I am not prepared to dig up dirt on the football club I support or waste any of my personal time finding out stats on our "racist contingent", because I dont want to waste any more breath on these morons. As long as the club condemns their actions and bans these idiots as and when the situation presents itself, I am happy with their efforts.
What I am not prepared to do is sit here and listen to a bunch of mud slinging, opportunistic, self righteous ass hats come on here and try to insult the Not606 Chelsea fanbase or try to diss Chelsea football club. It achieves nothing except inflating their egos and if they are really outraged about the issues (which is understandable) then they can get off their asses and do something constructive about it, rather than act like smug twats on an internet forum.
