I agree with that - you could easily trim the Civil List so it's only the major ones that get anything. You could open up some of the royal palaces to the public all year round and make good money out of them.
Buck House is included in the amounts: Royals personal wealth £1b, Crown Estate £8b. The Crown Estate generates £250 million per year income for the treasury.
Your banging your head against the wall stopme, these commie bastards will always ignore the facts. Theirs is a world of jealousy and spite to anyone with wealth.
I always like to familiarise myself with the facts before commenting. Now, I wonder how much money we'd save if we had a president instead... http://rt.com/usa/obama-africa-trip-cost-176/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-19052054 http://www.taxpayertreasurehunt.com/index.php/Main_Page
This is one that always intrigues me. Why do we HAVE to have a President if we get rid of the ridiculous sponging Royal Family and all their associated hangers on?
Let the thick Nigels who are into the Monarchy and think it's a good idea, continue to tug their collective forelocks while sensible people point and laugh at them. Everyone wins.
Good question. I think the Head of State type engagements would be too much for Dave to do on top of saving our country from ruin.
Why bother with all that malarkey. Let's just have a Prime Minister and that's that. It's all outmoded bullshit anyway. It's about time the whole government and Parliament thing was modernised anyway. I have yet to be told why if you do not have a monarchy you MUST have a President. If anyone can explain where this is written down in law I would be most grateful.
I demand my gratification now you two faced piss stinking crusty senile spazzy ***** **** with a Ugandan girlfriend.
She's still at work down the docks getting her fill of seamen. Knocks off at 5, cleans her putrid **** out then goes to ER ready for a licking.
