Wonky, do you agree with what that fan did?
The consequences of what could have happened?
The support and adulation of a Racist?
The fact that the media in general have chosen to sweep it under the carpet?
If you answer YES to any of those questions, then I'm very disappointed in you, but they will be your opinions and views and you have every right to air them, but please don't preach at me and condemn my feelings on the subjects! <ok> I stand by what I have posted!

No I don't. But I don't like fans using these disasters and Suarez as a form of attack, it's unnecessary, stupid and pisses me off.

Good to see that people are able to see the shades of grey in these debates, and never think about things in absolute terms.

I'm sorry but I'm with ILD, my posts weren't meant to be aggressive but I was pissed off at Liverpool fans (didn't have a lot of time for them before one ran on the pitch flipping us off) but by calling Suarez on his racism (which has been proved) and calling scousers on their victim complex I was accused of singing songs about hillsborough and all sorts of stuff. Therein proving my point of victim complex.

My thoughts of hillsborough are pretty well documented on this site, I don't need to justify my feelings on that. If you can find a single post where I mock it you can call me on it but you aren't goin to find it.

Wonky, honestly didn't mean to offend you pal, or anyone else for that matter. We can all have opinions, but we're all canaries at the end of the day.

Thanks for the apology Beef, appreciate it. <ok> I understand you don't mock it Beef but Liverpool fans are very sensitive on the subject and so a snowball effect is created.

Liverpool fans have been as bad as Norwich fans. When you see something you don't like it's best to turn the other cheek. All these comments are provocative and don't help. I have had two perfectly reasonable threads ruined by unnecessary, childish bickering. It is a shame after the success of the matchday thread between the two sides earlier in the season.

I hate having to ask Dave and Maestro to have to regulate these arguments and they do a fantastic job, giving up their own time. As you know, of this continues I will consider leaving this site which I don't want to do.

Even if you don't like the way the Liverpool fans have reacted to the Suarez incident or disasters you can do it on the Liverpool board. This thread is about the bad policing/stewarding of a Liverpool fan. It could have happened with ANY club and has nothing to do with Suarez or the disasters so they do not have to be brought up.

Wonky, as with Beef, I haven't set out to deliberately offend you personally.
If you look at the senario this way you may begin to see my point.

Liverpool fan goes onto the pitch to celebrate a Hat trick, is not removed by the stewards or police, 15 seconds elapse, he now turns to the Barclay making rude and insulting wind up gestures, still not removed by stewards/police.
NOW, the rest of the visiting supporters see this as an invite to also invade the pitch, the Barclay retaliate, a battle commences on the pitch (1970's all over again), people are seriously hurt or worse!

This could have happened, it's in Liverpools history, because they're Liverpool they can do what they like and blame everyone else. I don't want to see that again in my life time! I supported Norwich through those awful times, we had darts/coins any heavy object thrown at us, we were chased through city centres some were beaten senseless, coach windows were bricked, **** was thrown at cars!
Mate it only takes one complete and utter plank to start it off, thank god it didn't on Saturday. It's the attitude of their fans that worry me, as I've already posted, they think they are immune from any responsability or blame. Will we now see copycat actions by other supporters, tonights game for instance??? I HOPE NOT!!!

Beef, was that you parked at the top end of County Hall car park about 4:30ish, a Blue VW? I saw the mini shirt with Beef 24 on it hanging from the mirror, so I assumed it was you. I would have introduced myself, but wasn't sure how that would go, so I didn't obviously.

    Thanks ILD. <ok>

It's unlikely though and it's beat to turn the other cheek and Suarez and the disasters are completely unrelated.
