But that is just the point, it would not boost club coffers, it would probably be a net cost. Also as stated earlier it is the SMC not Hull City AFC which profits from food & drink sales at the KC Some people seem unable to differentiate between the SMC & Hull City AFC simply because both are owned by the Allams, but they are both different companies & the SMC does not subsidise Hull City AFC in fact it takes money out by charging the club to use the stadium.
I thought it was something along those lines (though admittedly I'm not au fait with the full set up). I remember a big gripe that at BP there was nowhere for the fans to drink and Tuns, Cod etc. literally took the profit the club could have had at a time of fiscal uncertainty. Now we get 23-25k per home game and the club (as such) still doesn't profit from beer sales despite, presumably, selling a fair few pints.
