Nobody has mentioned Bobby Gould as their G-man. I have a vague memory of his first match at Ashton Gate and I think he was sent off for one of his tackles, or has my eighty year old memory faded? When Chris Garland left for Leicester I developed a liking for the Foxes and wasn't he the son of a director of Bristol City, or was the name just a coincidence?
He did get sent off early in his City career
It might have been on his debut ?
He was certainly a journeyman and played for City, Rovers, Arsenal, Wolves and West Ham at least
