Picked up two 850g. blocks of Cadbury's Dairy Milk for £3.50 each from my local Iceland, coincidentally at the top of Easter Road, Edinburgh!

They're opening up an Iceland near me. Next door to the M&S food hall of all places. Might have to move before the riff raff start shopping there.
Cannae wait for the new Easter Road Lidl superstore! Man; I'll be jizzin' ma boxers when this opens!

Another fine AC/DC track referenced in your comment.

What have they done to the public toilets at the top of Easter Road, on London Road? Is it an office block now?

Being as they are so close to 'Casa Cambie' and various local rub-a-dubs I do not use these conveniences however I believe the building is still a public toilet. Think I recall the odd (?) bus driver shooting up the steps for a likely slash!

I thought it had been converted into a private business. Will take a look the next time I'm taking a walk over Calton Hill into Regent Park of a night.

Take care; Edinburgh's Disgrace and all that!

There was an article in yesterday's Evening News about Calton Hill being under threat which cited the following problems:

The blueprint cites “mugging, threatening behaviour, drug abuse, vandalism, graffiti and anonymous intimate activities” as current deterrents to tourists and residents visiting Calton Hill after dark or in the evenings.

That's the politest term I've ever heard for bumming <laugh>
