I'm guessing @Matth_2014 would double bluff everyone and order salmonella. Just to have the last laugh.

or he may just go for the Cheesy Wotsits.

Serious question, does anyone on this forum have it, Because I do, I've had it for a while now, I was diagnosed with it last summer.
I've had it for about 6 years mate.

Fortunately it doesn't seem to flair up that often these days, as I've learned what usually seems to trigger it.

The pain is in the colon mate, but I only get it every now and again these days, as I avoid the foods that seem to trigger it. I'm sure stress plays a part as well

Yeah it does, but mine's not bad to be honest.

Pieguts my close friend was diagnosed with it 15 years ago. It wasnt just the physical effect. His personality changed completely. He became irritable and short and rather harsh at times. He remained a close friend for years until I relocated.
I knew someone more recently who has Crohns. She told me the advances in surgery have been brilliant and she virtually leads a normal life as a result.

Crohns is bad as it affects both the small and large intestine so it is relentless and impossible to isolate. Not really sure how surgery could work. I'm not surprised your mate was irritable, it must be an utter **** of a disease.
I get occasional UC, which is 'just' the large intestine/colon. Same as Darren Fletcher. Also a complete **** of an afliction it is at least possible to isolate and take surgical action.
Not that that has happened to me, so far I've had three occasions where it has had me and it goes eventually. Usually in two year cycles. The last lasted a year mind, ****ing wrecked me mentally but not physically as I refuse to let it get to me.

I am on Crohns treatment myself. Heavy immunosuppressive stuff.

It's a long explanation and I'm on my phone, I will explain fully when I'm at a laptop if I can be arsed (boom boom)

Suffice to say IBS is, by comparison, **** all.
