Indeed. I still believe Yuki Abe only ever gets in the team to help promotion abroad. I really don't rate him. The promotion bit though is mainly creating a link with the club in Asia, this won't really affect the manager apart from when he has to take the team there preseason! I think if Pearson does find the promotional side encroaching on the day-to-day it'll piss him off a bit, but then he'll just have to remember how much he's been paid and get on with the job!
Why don't we be the first team to appoint a female manager, some really fit supermodel. Hopefully she'd attract players of the highest quality, then just get someone like McLaren/Holloway in as her number 2 and take care of all the football things with Nicholas Jon Barmby as number 3.
