Yeah but it doesn't stop them ending up in court in the first place where they are sentenced to the death penalty. Which is the point.
Americas problem is not the punishment, the problem in America is that they are a very violent nation anyways. With everyone keeping guns in their houses. I'm sure if everyone here kept a gun in their house, then we'd have as high a murder rate. Luckily we aren't as stupid as the Americans.
The vast majority of murders in America are done by those without a licence and with illegal held weapons.
Yes but they have a gun culture over there. Because there are so many more guns around, it's a lot easier to get one illegally. Any small time criminal can get their hands on one in America.
