I think all of them come with the tag " That sometimes is football" Last year, these players, all 3 could have had their pick but things happen: injuries, arguments with current club, not playing for the biggest club and not being seen, etc.

Demba Ba got turned down by Championship clubs at one time and now plays for Chelsea, we turned down Bony who we deemed not good enough and now interested. I think there is always misses and someone new comes out and is the top name.

Just wonder how much though really? Fees seem managable but wonder what the wage is? Would it break 100k?

Bluff just ask yourself this. What would you think about a player who had agreed to join you and you arranged for negotiations to take place. He doesn't turn up and you read in the press that he's just signed for the team at the bottom of the league? I don't think we need to go too far beyond the 'money grabbing bastards' suggestion to find the truth.

As for the 100K we'll never know!

What about Michu at Swansea. There's always surprise players that nobody else was interested in. There wasn't much interest for Torres or Suarez before we got them.

I would think he is an honest, hard-working player, doing his best to help a club that he loves...................................... <laugh>

If we do stick to this approach I think the top age should be 26, not 24.

I reckon it a case of they went there to put themselves in the window for a move to a bigger club in the following seasons. The other thing is that Harry probably has a similar contract to the Spurs one where he gets a % of the player signing. We all know how his wheeling and dealing works, just ask his cat !

QPR will try to sell for profit when they are relegated.

    Good point.

With regards to Torres and Suarez - they were highly regarded around Europe at the time we bought them. They weren't considered world class but they were definitely very good players.

Remy and M'Vila were highly regarded a year ago but for some reason, they've gone off the radar. I'm not sure why but there must be a reason for it?

Perhaps we need to take more risks in the transfer market?
