Bit of a worry being top of the fair play league to be honest. It either means you are a great tackling team or you are not getting in enough. I don't think we are a great tackling team!

Apologies temp, i used the wrong wording, i meant the banning orders table that a cardiff fan posted about recently, got mixed up with the more recent fair play league that was also posted.

Here we go, another Swan with an encylopedic knowledge of our finances that even VT's forensic accountants couldn't make sense of.

No one has got a clue how much money was actually owed to Langstone, Sam has agreed to the settlement not had it forced upon him by some x pence in the £ bollocks agreement.
I know it kills you lot that we do pay our debts in the end rather than run away then prentend they never existed but get over it. Swansea absolutely cannot take the moral high ground on finances with anyone until they go back and pay all the outstanding debts to everyone who got done over (assuming those companies still exist because it's tough when someone rips you off)

Chill there stevo ;) Just like you guys use quotes from newspapers to figure out our finances, I have done the exact same, the article is from walesonline, which claims 24m was owed, and 15m was paid. That there is a difference of 9m. Doesn't take a maths wizz. Or is it that cardiff fans have inside knowledge of our accounts at the time of our administration, oh wait, don't be silly, you read it in a paper didn't you?

Anyhow the point is not that you didn't pay langstone the full amount, but that 9m that gets wiped clean, is taking more out of our pockets than what the swans did in regards to no tax being paid on that 9m surely?

I don't think that fans from either club know the true financial position of each others clubs.

All we know that is 100% true is begging buckets were brought to Ninian Park.

    WOL, I rest my case.

Maybe we spent it on the £6m we paid for Cambell, or prehaps it was travel expenses for when we played Spurs away........

They are idiots who cannot even get the most basic facts correct e.g. home away fixtures, age limits for PL 25 squad, multiplying transfer fees by 10.

All of those have been in the last 3 months too.

Begging buckets? So what? That was many many years ago. Who gives a **** now? Admin was regretable but necessary and allowed us to slowly rebuild.

I actually think that you'd have been better taking admin (a perfectly legal device) and start again rather than jump into bed with your current owner who seems like a despot with little or no knowledge of the game or its fans and who is more than happy to be openly nepotistic, not caring what the fans or anyone else thinks. You may not be in the Prem but you'd have a clean slate with no mountain of debt. You'd probably be mainly owned by a Supporters Trust and you'd be playing in blue at home. No badge change, and you wouldn't be held to ransom by anyone.

I accept that whereas many Cardiff fans would not have wanted admin at any price and will defend Tan to the last, many would agree that the above scenario is preferable to what you have now.

I read recently a piece in the Independent and it sums up your owner's mindset. He was at a dinner in April explaining why the Bluebird had to go (in fact it was eventually reduced in size to be almost invisible).

“The bluebird was frightened by much bigger and stronger symbols: by the wren and what-not,” Tan said. “You know I’m a new football fan so I don’t know what the other symbols are…” The nervous laughter which followed – a bit like those feet-shuffling moments when your dinner host has just crossed the boundary of good taste – was the excruciating part. Someone might have stood up to tell Tan there was a century of heritage in that symbol. And that the club’s association with the bluebird dates to 1909, when a children’s play of that name – about the pursuit of a bird by children who wanted to commit it to a cage – captivated Cardiff during its run at the city’s famous New Theatre. Nobody did."

The point is that he is completely omnipotent and untouchable. He knows it and so do you. I'm afraid you're stuck with this guy now, for better or worse. Good luck.

My post was probably too complicated for you Steve...too many big words. <laugh>

Admin or have your club go out of existence? Hmmm....let me think.....

We didn't have the luxury of a procession of sugar daddies willing to bail us out like the ones you lot have cosied up to over the years. It was a no brainer and the only way to ensure survival. Like I said, regrettable but completely necessary.

Hope that was simpler to understand. <ok>

No just bored of such myopic supporters who look to preach at the first available chance despite having a ridiculously poor finacial history themselves.

Most people who bring an internet argument down to spelling, grammer, or just insults are normally losing hence the need to deflect.

Out of interest which words are you paticularily proud of using in that previous post?

I know I'm very much responsible for this kicking off so for my part I'll draw a line under this totally off topic diversion from my side.

As I said at the beginning this (for both clubs) has been done to death.

It does sum up why a few on our board are so upset with the free range the Jacks get over here though, I can imagine how well 2 of our posters heading over there and dragging up Admin would have went......

We get more than two. Regularly. Oh, and "paticularily" - you missed an 'r' and it just doesn't look right, mate <laugh>

Not preaching at all. Some of your own fans share my views and as far as I'm aware I'm entitled to express them. I'm not breaching any rules. As for having a 'free range' here unless posters breach the rules that's the way it goes. If you didn't have a Chairman who keeps on giving it wouldn't happen.

As for the use of big words you tell me you couldn't be bothered to read my post so it doesn't matter really does it? Unless you're now going to read it just to see if it actually does have any big words. <laugh>

Absolutely spot on Stevoldinho. The jax board is a no go zone for this kind of debate. It will be interesting to see if there is a reconstruction of the begging outside Ninian in the forthcoming jax film. Perhaps it will be edited out of history.

You're wrong. Our board is brimming with this stuff. You may not like what you read so those of a nervous disposition or have had a sense of humour bypass.....

Anyway, toodle-oo. Good luck with that mad guy. <ok>

...and you a mod too. :(

We warned you about Tan but were shouted down. Even now there are plenty here who make excuses for him. Even to appointing a painter as scout. <doh>

Back on topic, you do realise that no one knows what's happened with Moody? It's all just sensationalised paper BS at the moment. Some of that reporting my be acurate, plenty wont be.

Only an idiot makes sweeping statements about a situation with out possessing at least some of the facts. No one except a very limited few on the inner circle have any idea why this whole situation has arisen.

The painter isn't a scout btw, he's head of recruitment..............
