I don't think Tan is mad at all. I think he's a very shrewd business man who likes things done his way.

As has been said on here Moody's recruitment has been patchy with some very expensive success stories and some very expensive flops.

The overspend VT talks about is reffered to as 'costs related to player transfers'. The fact there seems to be a legal element to this gardening leave and the club silence that accompanies it suggests there could be more to this than meets the eye.
Has Moody lined a favoured agents pocket? Has he taken a back hander? We dont know!

If MM wants to leave because his mate has been sacked that's up to him. I hope he stays but if he doesn't then the quality of his replacement will be all that matters. As Saints have shown you can sack a manager who seems to be doing a great job and improve.
I think if MM was 'asked to resign' as the ever reliable WOL (have we played home or away v Spurs?) it might well have been along the lines of "If you don't like it, you know what you can do".
VT is the boss at our club, I don't believe he'll answer to MM or anyone else.

Finally does anyone truely believe that VT will trust his millions to someone with no experience. I'm confident the 24 year old is stop gap until the right man is found.

More or less what I said yesterday Steve. According to the Daily Mail (<yikes>)VT is apparently upset as the transfer spend did not take account of wages and other player costs thus blowing the budget out of the water.

Until the true story comes out, all else is speculation.

Well to be fair, if one of my employees said he'd spent 15 million more than budgeted for I would be a tad annoyed and garden leave would be the least of his worries.

    For what it is worth.
My View on this. Malky has overspent on his budget, Moody is a member of the press association and looks more like a business man than a scout in trackie bottoms, therefore there is more to Moody than first meets the eye. Have they caught him for instance leaking stories to the press ? What is his topslice on the recommendations ? Some of the recommendations have been abysmal to say the least.
If i were Tan i would probably do something similar, this so called position being filled by the young kazakstani is just a paper exercise and as i see it a way of stating to MM who is boss. Rightly so.
A budget is a budget, it is his money that he is putting at risk, not ours. His dilemma now is how he deals with MM. If he sacks him then the fans will revolt imo. Or does he clear the air with him and put him firmly into the picture as to how he wants the club to be managed.
Rightly so, he has probably realised that there are many straphangers in the football industry that are paid vast amounts of money, for doing very little, aka the scout/agent/press member that Moody appears to be.
Tan will not have made a break neck decision here. It will have been done after much consultation.

There is more to this than first meets the eye.

If MM leaves there may be a bit of a revolt by the fans. But hey ho The king is dead, Long live the King.

If what we're hearing is true and I were a betting man, I'd have a few bob on VT having already tasked Simon Lim to draw up a new manager shortlist.

Lack of action from the Swans fans meant good people and businesses being paid 5p in the £ and begging buckets taken around Ninian Park.

Personally Sparkey, I think Bellers is popular with the owners, is a Cardiff boy, and for some time now, Mr Tan has earmarked our Craig for great things. I would see this as the only possible appointment he could make to keep the fans onside if he does give MM the boot.
Further to my post above. I firmly believe people have been caught with their fingers in the Till.

If they have ronnyboy, they won't be there much longer - and that includes Malky.

In saying that, I'm not suggesting in any way that Malky has taken any bungs, but the misuse of Tan's money would probably constitute a capital offence in his culture.

I don't think we've heard the last of this. Let's just hope it boils down to Moody's indiscretions alone - then it could all go away very quickly.

To be fair, you do easily become a self made billionaire by ignoring/neglecting customers.

How about we call time on the VT cheap shots from Jacks until someone actually finds out what has happened? If he's ****ed about for the sake of it (almost certainly not the case) then feel free to wade in with the insults and we'll all join in.

Anybody, and I mean ANYBODY, who wearx his shirt and trousers like VT is a mad **** and would not look out of place traipsing around Cowbridge Rd East muttering about his lucky colour red.

Nonetheless, and glib comments aside, I hope there's good reason for this and that it is indeed a storm in a teacup.

Or is it all of us who are wearing them too low!

I've always quite liked people who wear what they want, not what they're supposed to. I'm pretty middle of the road fashion wise, but when you see a rich person basically saying '**** what I'm supposed to do, I like this!' it'll cheer me up with out fail!

Hilary off of Dragons Den is a great example, Robbie Savage is an absolutely tasteless bastard despite being minted too. Don't even start me on El Hadj Diouf.......HaHa.

We're moving house next Spring and my wife is trying to source a Dinosaur (needs to be approx 20ft high if anyones selling) for the garden.

Apparently I shouldn't judge until I've seen how she's going to decorate it!! It's about what you like not everyone else.......

Well this livened up a boring international break didn't it <laugh>

Only a few know what has actually gone on and it will all come out at a later date.

VT has been slagged off on every message board and the media has had a field day but as others have said its just rumours and speculation so far.

Nice to see our little cousins coming over for a chat !!!
