Here they come as expected. Good laugh at Swim's link though. We have to see what comes out in the wash. Just seen Negative Nathan giving his sixpeneth on BBC Wales. He knows no more than anyone else. Looks like the club are keeping a lid on this until they are properly advised to go public.
This reminds me of politics, the best way to mess something up is to put someone with no experience in charge of a department. How does a journalist become Education Minister? How does this guy become chief scout? See what I mean?
For the love of God lads, don't undo all the good work you've done to get yourselves into such a good position on the pyramid. Is it true this geezer was painting the Ground pre-season? I hope the Board see sense and stop tinkering with the Manager's setup. They should leave the footballing side of things to a bloke that actually knows what he's at.
So WOL and Daily Mail have an inside track on all things Cardiff City all of a sudden? More smoke and mirrors? Who the hell knows, other things I have read but cannot be confirmed are "Malky Mackay asked to resign" and "Tan to buy 98% shares" both lines in the WOL. You really can't make this up but I hope it is all made up because I am getting a tad concerned.
There will be an element of truth Taff but the "media sources" you quote are well known for making mountains out of mole hills - its the only way they generate sales. Clearly Moody has been put on gardening leave - no one outside the club knows why and the club are keeping very quiet at present. The 23 year old young man might have been given some authority above his perceived station but again no one outside the club knows how much and for how long. Everything else is pure conjecture. Once the club make a statement we might know more but again might not if all they do is confirm the above facts as there are things in course which cannot be made public at present. Nothing on the club site - just checked. Some good news: http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/article/kim-bo-wins-award-1106657.aspx
Evening Redbirds. Malky should man-up, stand by his staff and tell the tiddlywink to stick his job up his ladyboys arse. (then come and manage us)
A remarkable amount of childlike hysterical tantrums on 'the other board' about this. Tan is not stupid (most people on the other board just hate him so won't accept even this) - the appointment of a 23 year old is simply a stop gap till something else is sorted out. Clearly Moody has done something and we don't know what (if I had £70 million to buy the club I'd find out). Maybe we will never know - as with Gus Poyet at Brighton. Regarding the 'oh woe is me' hysteria that leads you to think the club can't manage without the great Mr Moody: 1. Is this the bloke who recommended we pay £2 million for Velikonja? 2. Is this the bloke who thought Kiss would be a decent Champioship player? 3. Is this the bloke who thought that Kadeem Harris would be a good player for the club? - two season's we've had him by the way, paid £250,000 ??? 4. Is this the bloke who thought Brayford might get a game in the Premiership? or did he just want to strengthen our Development side at a cost of over £2.2 million? 5. Gary Medel is a great player for us - but does Mr Moody think this was a 'bargain buy' at £10 million? Do you think it was a bargain? Really? 6. Steven Caulker is a great player for us, but at £8 million did he think that was cheap at the price? Do you think it was a bargain? Really? 7. Does Mr Moody realise that Andreas Cornelius played in a lower league and still got nowhere near the thirty plus goals that Bony scored - at £8 million is Andreas a bargain buy by Mr Moody? Moody might be a friend of Malky's - but so what? Tan did not push him out on gardening leave for nothing, and I don't think we should be having the hysterical panics - I believe there are other people out there who could do just as good a job, perhaps better. No one is irreplaceable - and in time he will be replaced by a suitable successor. Panic over .... now on to the next reason people can find for slagging off our club's owner.
At least one Kairdiff supporter has got it right! But you have to ask the question, is this a ploy by Tan to force MM's hand to resign?.....................
As a Swans supporter I hope all works out ok. All genuine football fans dread this type of owner taking over
I make no claim to be in the know. The first part of my post is common knowledge, based upon your previous actions. The second part is an educated guess based on Tans usual reaction to them. Bottom line is if you'd ever shown even the slightest resistance to the various snake oil salesmen that have passed your way over the last 10/15 years then you'd still have a club to call your own. Instead you'll just have to sit there and live with the consequences of your lack of action. Fortunately just sitting there and doing nothing is something you've proven yourselves to be good at.
Seems we are quite good at giving jacks a good slap when we meet , that aint all that bad is it...................
Swans fan in peace - I would remind everyone that, around about this time last year, the papers were loving rumours of unrest at the Swans. Turned out that some grumbles by players out of the team were blown out of all proportion to sell papers. The facts don't sound good - but some balance the idea with the fact that Moody had some less than successful signings. As I say, with the Swans episode, Laurdrup rode it through and we had a great season. I'm sure MM will do the same.
