Aspas will be a decent signing and has been linked with us for 6 months now....gutted.

Fecking Brenda..get your own scouts!! Does he have an original thought?

Why would we be concerned about it!? Surely the fact that Swansea were after him means there is a good chance of him actually being a good footballer and worth the money we are paying.

6 months? You need to get better negotiators. It took Liverpool 2 days, and that includes also signing Kolo Toure.

Just been on the Swansea board. They actually think the only reason Aspas is joining Liverpool over Swansea is because of the money. Yeah, ok then <laugh>

Your call or not, if you arent concerned about Brenda repeatedly turning to Swansea for inspiration. Unfortunately ML has made a rod for his own back after signing Michu and Chico for £4 mill combined last year. We will need to use some subterfuge this summer to have any chance!

    Anyhow, not your concern!

Dont talk ****. We know we cannot compete with you financially or as a proposition. Dont misquote our general feeling <doh> You do your board a disservice.

    Anyway ...see ya !

Do you seriously believe BR is watching whi Swansea are interested in before making a move?

Chico and Michu were great finds but will they be found out next season? Michu's not even had one good season yet since he stopped playing in February. I think Chico is the better find TBH

Yeah, Brendan was just sitting there with a blank sheet of paper, a bin full of scrunched up pieces of paper in it, cursing to himself for not being able to conjure up some transfer targets. What is he to do? Tough one. I know, let's call up the Swansea scouts and see who they are working on, oh that player who's got a decent goal scoring record for a relegated threatened side and is making headlines in Spain, our scouts must of missed him, it's not like they scout players is it <doh>

What a load of drivel <laugh> Southampton were linked with Coutinho so I suppose we just nicked a piece of paper laying about when they visited Anfield. Has it ever occured to any Swansea fans that perhaps our scouts actually follow football?

Setting myself up for a fall there actually, Never mind <laugh>

It was one poster. But no one even pulled him up on it. Which is surprising.

Wow. One poster constitutes the thoughts of a whole fanbase then!

I suppose that means just because I got drunk and slept with an ewe once makes us all ....ah forget about it.

  17. I think the 'it was one poster' comment was aimed at the one Liverpool poster you was responding to <doh>

Can't say I've seen or heard of this guy before but he can hardly be described as a "youngester" at 25 can he?! <laugh>

I gues if we get rid of Downing for a similar amount then it would be a decent enough transfer as no doubt he can't be any worse and probably on less wages <ok>. Sounds like he can play anywhere across front 3 so would add to our options with Suarez, Sturridge, Borini & Aspas playing in any of those roles and Coutinho & Sterling being able to play in the wider positions.

Also, the whole thing about us "stealing" Swansea's targets. Anyone thought that maybe he was a Rodgers target, and therefor he was interested in him at Swansea and since he moved is now still after him as he rates him as a good player? I'm pretty sure the managers are the ones that identify targets not the board of the club <doh>

Ronaldo created 62 chances this season Messi with 45 and Aspas with 65.

The Brendan/Swansea thing is getting a little dull now, he bought Joe Allen and that's it. He knew Borini and Studge from Chealsea lets not forget that. Toure has nothing to do with Swans neither does Coutinho, Aspas is a bit of a link if he was following him up from there, chances are Liverpool scouts were aware of him.

So Joe Allen and maybe Aspas and that's it, give it a rest Swans you're like some psycho girlfriend stalking Brendan.
