The only thing Short got wrong with PDC was appointing him in the 1st place....never in a million years could he manage a premier league team with an ego that size. It doesn't surprise me at all Short acted so quick, This man is ruthless in his 9 till 5 job...he see's a weakness and gets rid straight away. Looking at our team, tactics and certainly what PDC did at West Brom at the final whistle, suggests to me Short viewed him as a weakness in his business. I don't think in my time watching football have I seen a guy been vilified as much by the press and pundits than PDC..this also suggests to me there is something else about this guy we are not aware of...But on pure footballing terms, he had to go and I applaud Ellis for doing the right for our club and his business.
