Good to hear SB! I saw pictures of Amit crying with joy, and the whole squad seemed to celebrate together. We need our team playing and fighting for survival together as a team the rest of this season. I don't doubt Bolton's will be, and they must be the biggest threat to our survival right now!

Barton himself needs to recognise he isnt a playmaker so needs to cut out the crappy Hollywood pass attempts. Get back to what your supposed to be good at - Winning the ball in the middle of the park and playing it on to those in front with better technical ability.

Oh and on a side note - Show me a person that says Joey can take set pieces and ill show you a liar!

Give it a rest lads. He had a crap game, was subbed, booed off, after being booed at for a large chunk of the game. Many would have stormed out of the ground the second they were subbed. He stayed, celebrated the win wildly with his colleagues, admitted how poorly he played in public and, as far as I know has not complained about the booing. And now a board full of guys are sticking the boot in on this and the Amit thread. I've said elsewhere that this has gone beyond justifiable disappointment and anger over poor performances from our captain into blind hatred and prejudice. It's unpleasant.

I think he should donate his body to medical science and leave football, write a book and become another hypocritical activist

The only thing unpleasant was signing him in the 1st place. Hes a twat but at least we thought wed be getting a good footballer. Now hes an egotistical twat who is the worst player at the club and is on the most money.

Well Paddy must be happy he's moved off the bottom of your opinion poll!

    Agree SB!<ok>

Well said SB. It seems to me that although I have reservations about Joey Barton, he is being made into a complete scapegoat for the failings of the team as a whole. You cannot suggest that it is only Joey Barton's fault that we have such defensive frailties? Or the fact that we literally couldn't string more than 3-4 passes together for the first 20 minutes last night was just his fault? I saw numerous others give the ball away.

I think that last night was perhaps a big shock for Joey Barton, but I actually expect him to come out bigger and stronger and hoepfully we will see some good performances over the next few coming weeks.

On a seperate note, Hughes is now starting to see/understand the plyers and the fans wants. ie, I think he now knows that Mackie is a fan favourite and will probably start him, and that the big names he knew of before coming to QPR need to earn their place in the team ie SWP.Gona be a great finish to the season!

Do you actually support QPR? I see you've got the badge in your signature there, but on pretty much every thread you slate off all the players and other aspects of the club. Is there anything you do like about supporting QPR or are you one of those people who just like to bad mouth everything so you can turn round and say 'I told you so' when it goes wrong?

This is getting dull. I respect your opinion but frankly I get the impression that he could break his neck scoring the goal they keeps us up and it still wouldn't be enough for you? He said he was crap so let him respond and improve, what more do you want? Do you think for one minute abusing any player helps the rest of the team?

It helped last night, without the boos, he would not have been taken off and wed have lost.

Barton would have to score a hattrick every game to make up for his abysmal season, he rivals Torres for the worst waste of money in the PL.

Yes JB was crap last night but his performances come under far more scrutiny by us than any of our other players. No one else in the squad has their each and every mistake highlighted. Now I am largely disappointed by his overall contribution so far but to say he has been ****e in every came is frankly utter bull ****.

I just hope the Boo boys have had their day and will give JB a chance to put things right at the weekend, booing him from the off wont help anyone.

It is wrong to boo the team captain but the fact of the matter is that the team played without him.
