I got fed up when they moved into book 6. They tried to go darker without actually going darker. Felt like i was reading some girly teen romance story
I'll give that a look I think I've read somewhere that surprisingly it's only about 1 in 30 shark attacks that are fatal.
I was fascinated with sharks back in 1975 when Jaws came out (was 15 and had read Benchley's book) - read everything I could get my hands on including a book that was a list of all recorded shark attacks (might have been by Ron and Valerie Taylor or H David Baldridge) - the problem with the stats is what actually gets recorded as an attack - at the time that I read that book there were 3 recorded attacks in the UK - one was a blue shark that bit the fisherman who hauled it into his boat - the other 2 were equally innocuous ... the stat you really need is the number of fatalities involving attacks by the Big 3 ...Great Whites, Tigers and Bull sharks ...
The first real " Wildlife " programme I ever saw was a documentary called BLUE WATER WHITE DEATH . Found it fascinating IIRC. Was young at the time .
