How can you think you have loads of money when you're in debt? No business keeps £90mill more than their required liquid cash in the bank, especially one with substantial debts. Why would lack of CL not affect your operating costs? Of course it would, it'd go down <erm> I took that into account when I said you'd lose £30mill when CL football brings in around £50mill.
You won't do any overhauling with wenger in charge. He's a staunch socialist and doesn't believe in big spending. You will have to rely on more youth coming through or cheap cast offs with a bit of prospect.
I'm not going to lie. Idind't read the ending, so yes i apologize to the OP. But if you seriously want us to not get Top 4 then you are a fool. Sorry OP.
Vicious - see this link - Hill-Wood insists as he always does that if Wenger wants money for transfers money will be provided, he also confirms we have lots of money in the bank, he confirmed a cash balance of £90m - that was in 2008 - we since made record profits AND sold players like Adebayor, Nasri and Fabregas for nice profits !!! http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/chairman
Ignoring that it's 4 years ago. You have a £90mill cash balance which he confesses is inflated by a season ticket renewals, £30mill needed as security for the loans you pay about £10mill a month on wages, you lose £30mill in a non CL season and you don't think that spending the whole balance represents a big financial risk to the clubs future? There simply isn't the huge money there for transfers.
