Good point, and I also agree with Grinning that I'd love to see the business plan. I suppose if 1 in 5 Chinamen buy a QPR scarf, there'd be a fair turnover, but it must be more sophisticated than that! Is there a football club example TF is following I wonder. Since we're not a plaything like Chelsea or Citeh, or a cash cow like ManU, may be he's going for the Arsenal type approach.

Not me mate, I follow F1 and knew both were egomaniacs and crooks long ago......I might be wrong about TF, and agree with you that we hear a bit too much from him sometimes, but overall I couldn't be happier with our ownership.
Cue horrible scandal and total collapse......

Too right. Never understood why there is no QPR merchandise at Westfield. Even MK Dons have a little stand in their large shopping centre!

Fair enough Stan. I think Fat Thony is made of better stuff.

(Blimey, you're an all rounder. Cricket AND F1 with Soccer to boot! I prefer touring car myself)

Soccer! Football's in the blood, cricket I was quite good at as a teenager (got to my university of choice because of it - though they would deny sport has anything to do with selection), rugby I have learned because my son plays, F1, just love the noise.....

There's nothing like the music of a V8 engine going by at 200mph. You have good ears my friend.

Does he actually like anything other than power and money? Sounds like a good job though Hoppy. Just base my view on the way he has strangled billions out of the sport, but then again he basically created it so his right I suppose. Briatore has been a proven crook from day one. Stayed out of Italy for years to avoid a fraud conviction in the 70s. Lucky they have a short statute of limitations.

Its quite sad really, hes in his 80s, got all the money he can spend and all he cares about is getting more money.

It seems he can never be happy even with £2b in the bank.

He is a nasty bastard, he doesnt care about F1 or the fans, hes taking all the races from classic places like spa and follows the money to concrete carparks in the middles east or a trading estate in Spain.

Reckon he knew he'd made a mistake very soon after getting involved with us, not interested and not really involved; but pride and basic need to turn a profit kept him in. We shouldn't forget that these twats basically saved us.

Read what Tony said - essentially we are in the best part of the best city in the world. If we move too far away from the bright lights ( like Hounslow) no way will we fill a new stadium bigger than the current one. Bet we end up in walking distance of LR.

This article reminds me just how far we have come from the afternoon i stood at LR stunned having just been despatched out of the FA Cup by Vauxhall Motors and just a bit earlier a collection bucket had gone round the ground asking fans to raise money for things like petrol for the team coach on our away trips
