goons are mostly to blame & team selection & formation, but get jan over with signings & hope we can all pull together & escape, if we go down life goes on & will deal with it.
Can we stop blaming Bernie and Flavio also? We spent sufficient money in the summer, albeit late on. Our results significantly improved since then for a short while, and now the predicament we find ourselves in is because of our managers inability to make tactical substitutions and lack of a plan b. It's purely all warnock.
Yes, surival in 17th would be OK but if you look at current form we are relegation fodder. While I do think we have been unlucky in many recent games NW simply has not shown the tactical nous to use a reasonably good quality squad to best effect in the PL. And if anyone can explain why his decision to include Puncheon in the 25 at the expense of several better options makes sense then I will be very impressed. As I have said before, I think it was right and proper to let him have a season to make a go of it and I do not believe there will be any value in making a change at this point. But personally I have seen enough to confirm that he is almost certainly not the man to take the club forward beyond this term.
Canary Rob, I agree we should be higher up the table, but Ferdinand has suffered more than jt since the chelsea game, swp & barton have both been hot and cold, barton and troare both sent off stupidity (and do not want to get involved in another debate regarding this) kenny injured and only Faulin and Young playing consistanty well. Shame we can't name a striker in there that sores regularly. Boothroyd is a decent player but has never been and out and out striker and hasn't found his feet with us just yet - however, I have a feeling that he will come good.
A big factor in our success last season was a great pre-season, regardless of whether or not the teams we played in it were high quality. It got them working as a team and they came out flying. He has gotten his tactics wrong at times but not as often as people are saying. There are games that haven't worked for us for other reasons, such as bad luck or lack of confidence in the team.
Seems so, it drives me mad that we are already looking for an excuse if the dreaded drop happens. This happened at the start of the season, and we had a week to sort out transfers. Granted its not long, but lets not forget that it wasn't as if Warnock hadn't drawn up targets before hand. He didn't have a pick of the rest. People mentioned about Graham, we could have signed him only we didn't want to pay him the 30k he's on at Swansea, and right so!
