Dave after Jan 1st ince can sign a pre contract and whoever he signs that with will get him for a nominal fee training fees compo.
and incey boy gets lotsa money mabon oh wait he'll have to turn down any move next year to stay at blackpool to be with mummy and daddy.......
Mabon, As most of his early years were with Liverpool and he was bought by Blackpool would there be any training compo involved ???
I know the lads are dissapointed, but there are better players out there for £8m, cardiff have plenty of time to bag their targets, as for ince you may have had a lucky escape there Swamp, i read somewhere that he had his old man to inform cardiff
That will be interesting if he signs for Liverpool then especially with them having a 35% sell on agreement
I would suspect Blackpool are privately fuming to have lost cardiff's 8 million Eldon liverpool have probably lost out on 2.7 million bucks
Blackpool chairman was going to use the Cardiff money to strengthen the team, even after paying 'pool their share they would have been left with £5million+. I bet he is fuming.
Well i am glad he is not coming, as the young man and his father have really shown themselves as the mercenaries that they really are. Tossers the pair of them.
There is plenty of time and like I said earlier we'll only really know how badly this has affected mm's plans when we see the replacement. I'd love us to use this money to sign 2 attacking fullbacks. Our existing midfielders and wingers would be given another dimension if they had quality attacking threat behind them. On reflection I think the fact MM let ince mess us about for 2 weeks shows he doesn't have an obvious/as good plan b. Its funny how these things work out though and we might end up signing a player who is one of our stars next season that wouldn't have even been at the club had Ince decided to make us a stepping stone.
No he can't. He can sign a pre-contract with an overseas side from Jan onwards, he can't agree a deal with an English club until his contract expires. Balckpool would be due £0 as a development fee btw, as they never developed him!
Or maybe the lad has more ambition, and doesn't want to get stuck with a team that will be relegated after one season in the Premiership Anyway lads you would have been taking a hell of a gamble paying 8million for an unproven player at this level. Much better out there for 8 million in my opinion.
The majority were thinking 8 million is way too much. He will enter the final year of his contract next month and has an option for another year after that. If he doesn't move this month I reckon he will see next season out with Blackpool. That way he will be able to get a higher salary on a Bosman. Blackpool can accept any offers made but if he isn't going to get the money he wants he wont leave. I really think this is about him and money not football.
That's bollocks because all he'd have needed was a relegation release clause. If he was worth a place in the PL after one season someone who stayed up or had been promoted could then take him on. If he wasn't that good he'd be back in the right division. No one knows whether 8mil is too much. He's a very intelligent player, with pace and the ability to score and create. He could be a PL star and England international in 2 years. Kev Phillips says he's better than Zaha who's just been brought by one of the biggest names in world football for 15 mill. Maybe we should start a going straight back down thread all the jacks can sign it then it can stop be posted multiple times on every thread they get involved in.
