I'm sure he hears voices but I don't think it's got anything to do with concealed bugs.........

    All appears strangley quiet.

If he's not coming then can he stop messing us around and tell us so Malky can move on!!!!

According to the Blackpool Telegraph (get my shovel of salt) Ince has returned to training asking Mackay for more time to think about the move.

Okay, so West Ham considering signing Stewart Downing probably at cut price £8/10m having paid £20m for him.

Thus freeing up a wide space at Liverpool and giving them sufficient cash to buy Ince with their deal for some Armenian with an unpronounceable name having fallen by the wayside.

Bet Ince goes to Liverpool if the Downing sale progresses - he has just been biding his time and stalling us knowing something might happen at Anfield!!!! <yikes>

Enough of wasting our time with him, if he wanted to be here then he would have already signed on.

When I'm making big decisions I like to have time to mull things over, I take all the time I'm allowed.
If he signs it will be because he has decided it is the best choice for him.
It's nice from our point of view to get things sorted quickly, but I wouldn't rush if it were me making this decision.

It really looks like he's waiting for Liverpool. If they wanted him that much they'd have signed him instead of the Spanish reserve winger.

Very true SBFF but doesn't he realise the anguish he is causing the most important people in the club - us!!!!!

It's only right that he takes his time so the decision is the right one for CCFC and him but it is so unusual for a footballer to give such a matter this extent of consideration. More often than not they make total kneejerk decisions.

Mind you as well as Downing he will also be watching how the Suarez situation plays out. Not that he would be thought of as a direct replacement but could well become part of the mix in any changes there.

I think the issue is that Brendan "Brent" Rodgers is sniffing around so, don't be surprised if Ince heads to Liverpool. This reeks of Rodgers "Grave Robber" transfer tactics. He lets other clubs do all the leg work then, when talks are on-going, he swoops, catching yhe player, agent with his "Liverpool is a massive club" or "I'll look after you" routine and the pngoing talks are destabilises.

To know where Tom Ince is going just follow his Dad, Paul was in, guess where, Liverpool today.

I wouldn't be too dissapointed if I were you. T.Ince is a decent Championship winger but, IMHO, he's not an automatic starter at premier league level. He still an ongoing project and £8m is too much to risk on a working project.

If he doesn't sign for you, but he still might, I think you'll have dodged a bullet.

Agreed he is untried at Prem level but he looks a very good prospect, more so than Zaha in many City fans' eyes having seen us blot out Zaha's threat more often than not.

Time will tell but I wish he would make his bloody mind up so Malky can move on if he is not signing for us.

I see Ince senior said he needs at least 8 new players for Blackpool to do anything next season so I guess he wants the money from his son's sale as soon as possible. Not sure how that will work as Liverpool get a good cut of the price from a sell on (hence the higher price quoted) or they will pay a lower figure, £4m to £5m say, if he gos there.

I strongly believe the Downing sale is a big factor in this.

With all due respect, he is an automatic starter for your team in the Premier League. I would say he is really close to pushing for an automatic start in our team, you can't sniff at the amount of goals and assists he created. If he signed for your club then it would be a very good acquisition, but as alot of you have already said he seems to be holding out for a move to Anfield and you can guarantee the person whispering in his ear is his own father.

There can be no doubt that he is hoping from a better offer in terms of club, but if he ends up with us then I would think he would give 100% in the hope of proving himself at this level and therefore a bigger club coming in for him at a later time. I see this as a win win situation.

He's not that keen and he's not coming - that was obvious yesterday, or before that if you trust my gut instinct: too much talk about it in advance, he was just being touted. He's just using us as bait for a better offer.
On to the next one. Might have been a good signing - we'll never know.

We certainly need to draw a line on this and the conversation should go something like "you've had a think, now sign up or **** off".

This whole saga is not our usual way of doing things.

We don't do our transfer dealings in the press. We should tell him to sign by Friday or the deal is off.
