do you what the highlight was for me, its was seeing all the norwich fans (men, women and children) giving Saurez the ****er sign for that miss, then to see their vacant expressions when they were still doing it when he got the ball from the goal kick and scored.

    that was priceless!

i did, and he spoke a lot of sense. he's right when he says there isn't the same intensity but the vast majority of clubs in their second season stay up. if two thirds went down then it would be a more valid point. fact is, most of us felt we'd be in a relegation battle this year and that is what we are in, along with about 8 others, so the odds on staying up are still quite high - 6 stay up, 3 down.

as for yorkie, are you talking about one dodgy penalty against sheffield united, cos that was the ONLY one that was a bit iffy. the rest were all completely correct. startling how bitter you still are about it.

guru, i'll be honest with you, i think it would be more valid and less laughable if your own team were any good. the fact they are doing EVEN WORSE THAN US, kind of takes the gloss off your threads <ok>

The thing that made me laugh about his post was the fact he thought we scraped into this league. He could only dream of scraping into this league!

    quick question for yorkie:

i'm reliably informed that the referee, mr kettle, gifted ipswich a free kick which should never have been given from which you scored, told your manager to take a player off before he got sent off and also failed to award a stone wall penalty for the hosts in the final five minutes of your match against barnsley.

sounds like you got some dodgy decisions go your way at the weekend...

but you lot were complaining about decisions given against you!

you can't have it both ways...

fact is, if something goes against your team you feel hard done by and have a moan, but for some reason when we do it we shouldn't be allowed to but its ok for you lot to do so.

Seems strange, you lot hate Suarez/Johnson for diving, yet I'm sure i remember Tierney going down quite easy last year at Bolton!

pot Kettle Black springs to mind!

i think you'll find tierney got ridiculed by all our fans on this forum at the time - i know i had a go!

difference being of course that his was a one off - suarez does it week in, week out.

johnson's dive was hilarious i have to say - i love that 'dying swan' look! <laugh>

just to add, the day tierney did that at bolton was the day we all felt we'd arrived in the premier league because we'd become more streetwise. what had gone before that game was similar but against us - it seemed to work and sure as night follows day, it worked for us. its not right and it should be clamped out but the fact is that cheating gets results in this league. my team are way too honest at times. snodgrass got clipped in the box on saturday and stayed on his feet - had he gone down it would have been soft but possibly given - i bet suarez would have gone over. its not a nice league. time wasting, diving, feigning injury, shirt pulling... all major issues. there was one time when suarez had morison in an actual headlock in the box at a corner!!! it was incredible. does it get reported? does it heck! refs need to start giving penalties for every little foul - maybe that would cut some of that out.

Suarez does not do it week in and week out if you actually bother your arse to look at the evidence.

He dived a few times when he was new to the league and the media created this mythical reputation of him being a compulsive diver.

He dives no more or no less than:

    Bale
    most of the Chelsea team
    Welbeck
    Young
    Holt the other season.

But Suarez is a dirty foreigner like the ones who brought diving to the premiership (as the media likes to say which is also total bollocks btw) so he gets the wrath of the media whilst all the other British divers get off scott free.

More proof of this is if ,you look at the difference in media behaviour towards Terry and Suarez when they were both found guilty of the same thing. That alone if you bother to look at the statistical analysis of it thats been done by Newsframes (google it), proves to any fair minded individual that Suarez is treated unfairly and with predjudice by the british media, inparticular the right nwing press.

Every time Suarez has went down this season, replays have shown he was hit and should have had a penalty. Even the so called 'dive' he was booked for a couple of weeks ago was proven to be an incorrect decision by the ref on the replays. Every pundit I've listened to, in particular Gary Neville who hates Suarez and Liverpool, has said he hasn't dived once and that yellow card was wrong and that he is now being treated unfairly by refs because of who he is, which isn't right.

Also, in the build up to Sahins goal, a bad tackle came in as he went past your last defender in the box before squareing in to Sterling then Sahin, he could of went down there and got a pen and the defender sent off but he stayed on his feet when all the players I've listed above would of went down. He gets no praise for that though, in fact besides Brendan Rodger's mentioning it in his interview, it has been brought up once in the football media. Complete and utter bias and prejudice against him.

Suarez has been told the score by Rodger's this season so he wouldn't dare go down without contact, but if you need to lie about him "diving week in, week out" because of a media created myth and reputation, to make yourself feel better about him making your team and fans look like proper mugs, twice now, by all means go ahead.

i think i should have worded it better. i didn't say 'diving week in week out'. i meant the histrionics.

don't know if you went to the game on saturday but there were four, maybe five times when suarez feigned injury to try and get someone booked. now that's not technically diving but is it cheating? damn right it is. what i am saying is that he is a great footballer and doesn't need to do that - its a nasty side of the bloke which without it, would see him lauded as a fantastic player. i spoke to maybe thirty liverpool fans on saturday and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM moaned about his behaviour to me. so there may be weeks when he doesn't dive and i do believe he has probably stopped doing it to a degree - i only saw him go down easily once on saturday - but the histrionics that follow him around are disgraceful.

you are quite right to point out that he is not as bad as bale and the like, but that doesn't make him a saint. he still does things which aren't pleasant on a football field and that's a shame. its his past indiscretions which are costing him and your team penalties. that's not fair but i'm afraid the waters have muddied for officials because of his attitude last season. i hope he cuts it out cos my word, what a player!

This raises a good point, I have never seen Ashley Young get so much abuse, is it because he is English that he gets away a bit lighter?

guru, its cos match of the day never highlight it when an english player does it or if they do, they just laugh it off or bizarrely shearer will say 'he has every right to go down'. they always gloss over it. welbeck's dive the other day, victor moses did it too... totally ignored <ok>
