I think if he came back and was just reasonable then any little spat would be soon forgotten. I certainly wouldn't hold a grudge.
 
People come and go.

I found myself having more laughs on here when he was about, but that was just laughing at him not with him, which is not a good thing (for him)

As soon as something controversial happens (Mayalsia!) again the forum will liven up a bit, nothing like a scandal to get everyone going!

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust ........... major tom etc etc
 
Did you know Major Tom was a junkie and he never really went into space after all?!

Seriously though, yeah, you're right: I'd like Silver to come back but I don't think it's going to happen and I have noticed that things are generally more harmonious here now.
 
I find it more funny that of all the events that saw him burst and leave was Five Live's preview show to the new season! Hardly controversial stuff and a bit needless quite frankly but it was his call and the forum has been more harmonious since aside from the whole Webber/Vettel situation which died down once we got some racing again.
