Syd my son came home more angry than I've ever seen him, didn't even want to talk about the match at all. The lads he has persuaded to go to the matches must have been thinking what the fecks the point to pay to watch this. He said he and his mates were jumping up and cheering on the lads, they were getting shouted down by other supporters around them!!!! What the hells the matter with people going to the match these days, he says they just don't have any passion for the game. It's over a year and a half since I have been to the stadium but I thought it was getting like that then. Too many people either scared to show their passion or turning up their nose at people who do show passion. Bring back the terraces, where the odd ones out were the ones not joining in the chanting!!!
you were extremely quiet. If you're going to fill a stadium , at least try and get behind them. Do you lot? Actually you lot are exactly the same. Didn't here you making all that much noise against Stoke. A very sensible post spoiled because you had to make some petty remark.
The referee thing pisses me off, just cos of the principal of it. I just dont understand why Sunderland is subject to so many bad decisions. The game itself was heavily influenced by the injuries. Cattermole was good for 20 minutes, but very quickly tired in the second half (understandable, he is not match fit). Richardson went off as well, with steed as his replacement. Steed is not as good as getting behind the defence as Richardson. With both Bardsley and Ferdi playing with injuries in the second half, we suffered even more (I am pretty sure that Suarez would not have got the second goal if Bardsley had not been injured). Other than that, every time we attacked Liverpool had 8 men in thier box, and relied on the counter attack to break on us. As one of my mates said, Liverpool played like a fancy stoke, which made them very hard to break down. If we dont get at least 4 points against brom and brum, then I will start to wonder "WTF"
