    Oh no we would have to buy new ones that look exactly the same.......

    What else do you expect them to do with it? It would be expensive to store anywhere and with no plans to reinstall them they might as well get sold to raise money for charity - most obvious and sensible solution now they have been taken down...

    Future owner can buy them back.. or just put up ones with the original lettering style?

    Shouldnt be too difficult to find out where the letters are, not exactly going to be able to be kept hidden.
