I really just don't know what to say - My thoughts on the game...........

Disgraceful from manager and players. The talk is all Pardew which I understand, but the players were a disgrace yesterday. Steven Taylor - England centre half - no chance. Debuchy - What was all the fuss about? Looks average. Tiote and Perch - Holding midfielders yet Coutinho, Gerrard, Downing and Sturridge are afforded a chasm the size of the red sea to operate in. Sissoko and Cabaye - we're in a dogfight lads, don't shamefully disappear up your own arse and bottle it.

Pardew picked the wrong team, sent the players out with the wrong mindset in the wrong set up. But I can't just say "ah its all the managers fault". He certainly takes a large portion of yesterday but the players are a set of spineless twats.

 

It's worse the day after

 

We where in relegation trouble, so signed French players. It's something I'm surprised none of us foreseen. The entire squad was basically french yesterday and it only actually looked like Perch and Taylor knew what they where doing. The rest where to busy moping around and causing fights. They're all useless. And Sissoko is the worst signing of the lot, two goals in two games does not excuse the worthless performances he's put in recently. He just runs, looks around passes back. He's like a headless chicken, and the worst part, Pardew isn't even playing him in the correct position! He was on the wing yesterday! THE WING!

 

Really? I thought Taylor was garbage. Perch was supposedly playing holding midfield with Tiote. Yet Liverpool had acres of space in there. Also garbage for me. I couldn't single the French guys out, they were ****e to a man.

 

Taylor was the only one tracking back for me. Mbiwa was just watching, not down to him I feel. He's probably been told in training "Okay, Taylor collects, passes to you, you get the attack going" Holding midfielders wait up, for taylor to collect, then mbiwa to pass, it doesn't work, Liverpool score. Rinse repeat 6 times. 6-0.

The space in midfield, looked like Tiote and Perch weren't even sure which one of them was supposed to get the attack doing so just neither of them lied back. They where both waiting for the attack. The entire team was managed terribly yesterday, and there dire performances did nothing to help.

Perch, kept his head, charged into the box, and had the best chance all game. That shown a bit of fight in the lad. Next game, Simpson will be back, Colo, keep Perch in, no Tiote. That will increase our chance of winning ten fold. Too much French and we're destroyed.

 

I was hoping to wake up this morning realising it was actually Saturday and that I'd just had the most terrible nightmare. Alas...
