When City (ours) started to press they looked much more comfortable and made a real game of it. Man CIty have world class players all over the pitch and always looked capable of scoring but it was interesting to see how they immediately started to play for time as soon as they got their noses in front towards the end. Some good performances throughout the team for City after a very shaky start. Fingers crossed for three points next week.
Also interesting that they took off an attacking midfielder (Silva) and replaced him with a CB who they played in midfield. They were obviously worried about us and with good reason. I just felt that we should have made the substitutions about 10 minutes earlier, as the momentum seemed to be swinging back in their favour. Great entertainment though!
Need to play with the same intensity we did today (after 1st 10 - 15 minutes) next week. If we can do that then no reason why we can't take the points
I got the impression from Pellegrini that that was a hard earned win for them. Need to make our spirit and endeavor count in our more winnable games though.
