you can't aim NOT to be promoted but the NPC is a great league and will be very hard to finish top 6.. at the beginning of the season I thought mid-table would be acceptable.. that's where we are now but I'm looking at NP's team and thinking we'll actually finish higher..
".....as most of the money would then be transferred to the Euro one....." within five years, the product will be entering its mature stage as far as murdoch is concerned and something else is bound to take its place. with the pub landlady ruling last week, the embers are already there. just watch it burn when the fire gets going!!!!!....a euro league is the undoubted next stage in football's development before it eventually spins up its own arse and we get back to the real game again.
The first half of the first season in top flight was great when we were winning a few games to defy all the pundits that slagged us of a bit like david and goliath, but it soon wore thin when we were finally found out. Thats when I wsnt enjoying my saturdays as much as i should of done. Also having fewer games the season seemed to stop/ start. To sum up I enjoy the championship but the premier league is our finishing line, I,d like to think that when we arrive back to top flight some big lessons have been learnt from our first visit and maybe it will be more enjoyable second time around.
