I know what you mean YeOlde, Pirates keep it real for us really, it's the same with movies, try before you buy or **** off.
Wouldn't be surprised if some of the people on here supporting piracy would also moan about Eastern Europeans coming in and undercutting British workmen by charging lower prices. If you want something ****ing pay for it.
If i like it enough Chippy i will, but like i said on an earlier post, in the past i've spent hundreds on albums and films, watched/listened to them and thought, no ****er is going to give me that wasted time back again. At the end of the day, the artists get such a small percentage of the sale, that it's borderline negligible, it's the corporate labels that make all the money, and i have no qualms what-so-ever about ripping those ****s off.
I see your point but I still buy them - and if they're that ****e then I give them as Xmas and birthday presents.
This sums it all up in my mind. please log in to view this image Typical modern situation if you ask me, the less you do the more you get paid.
****, if you look at it that way. i've got over 30,000 on my ****er, ****ed if i'm paying nearly 24k for that lot.
And that's only the bastards i like to listen to, i suppose for us older farts we can listen to pretty much any old ****e we like. Not quite as easy for the whipper snappers, what with peer pressure and all that bull.
I hope you're not calling me an old fart I'm 20 and have Beethoven, Manfred Mann and Dusty Springfield on there
That's a good spread, for a whipper snapper , the old fart comment was refering to myself mainly, but i know i'm not the only **** on here old enough to fart dust.
But do ya have any Al Bowlly??, that's the sort of prehistoric ****e i have accumulated over the years, **** he's been dead for more than 70 years. I do find that the older i get, the more varied my musical tastes are becoming, i get some strange questions from work collegues, but **** em, i didn't put them on for them ****s to listen to anyway.
