They are talking to 606 BTW : Site News Thursday 19th May, 2011 13:19pm Good news, bad news situation! I'll start with the bad. It has come to our attention that some of our users are possibly promoting the JA606 site a bit too hard on other forums that also provide an alternative service to the original 606. To launch the site, we made just 4 posts on the original 606 and things kicked off from there. At JA606, we understand the effort that goes into creating a site such as this and would therefore never encourage or condone any activity that prevented users from accessing a site or otherwise damaging it. We would therefore request that any users who may be engaging in such an activity reign in their enthusiasm - thank you! And now for the good news - we have just received the original 606 smileys from the BBC and will endeavour to get them in play as soon as possible.
So Yorkshire by lack of denial ,are we to assume you are actually involved in the building of JA,Some of the rules do have your sense of humour! I still think I have sussed you

I am surprised that some people are talking about ja6060 being a threat to here. Reality is there are less than a 100 Watford supporters on here and there must be 10 times that active internet users to say the least. Many use Wfc and other forums and never posted on 606. My whole intention for posting this was because a site is emerging that has all the elements of what many people here have said they wished could carry on after 606.. I paraphrase someone who i will not name " Can't someone recreate all that is good about 606?". There have also been suggestions of treachery and the like and comments about how bad -pathetic I have heard used - ja606 is .. when we all know if it had appeared three months back we would all have been there now. I said all along that we should all stick together on the move from 606 as most of us had said. I thought I had found a potentially great space for us. But people clearly want to stay here..fair enough. I will continue to post here but I will also travel elsewhere to other parts of the cyberuniverse. So if some of us do post on ja606 I hope we all continue the fun and banter... I myself fancy setting up a little bar at the end of the universe perhaps with a transporter tp the nest here. Will be good to cross post ( I said cross post too and create links etc.
Yorkshire, you're right, if it had shown itself 3 months ago, we'd all be there. i don't see it as a rival, it's just somewhere else to post. i haven't joined, but then i struggle to keep up with this, and FB and twitter, and other places i frequent. Enjoy spreading your ether wings, and if you hear any juicy gossip over there, please be sure to share it here...when there's no footie to talk about, we need something to talk about! lol
I might join when 606 finally dies (I heard it closes next Thursday?), but I think like Hornette, I hardly have time for here, fb and twitter as it is... I think Twitter I have posted twice in the time I have been there!! BBC I still look through as there is still a lot of activity on other boards, but rarely sign in to post! I just thik everyone is settled here, got used to the differences and like them! It would just feel like another upheaval for everyone to go! Sorry YH
