And a pile of **** has replaced him. Slagged off the players and pulled a woy on us. Fergie going was nothing compared to this smith.
100% certain things will improve. There is literally no doubt in my mind. I dont think you believe what you say tbh smith.
So Fergie was the sole difference between 1st & 7th? If Moyes had left the backroom staff in place, then imo there's no way that squad would be in 7th place now. His ego was that big that he spurned the chance of continuity & what you're seeing now is the result of that vanity....
Basically he thought he was bigger than united and he currently thinks hes better than the players. I think he better **** off.
These players get paid ludicrous amounts of money for doing nothing at all, they should shut up and get on with it instead of **** stirring. I would put up with ANYONE as my boss for that amount of money.
Oh and while I am here, Fergie should p!ss off as well. As long as he is there, his enormous shadow will stifle and choke anyone put in charge.
Not sure you can blame De Gea for saving Kieran Richardsons shot. He absolutely wanged it and thought it was a class save to even get gloves on it. He probably had like a millisecond to react
If I'm honest, all WUM-ery aside, Moyes needs time to build his team. This side, Mata and Fellaini aside, is still very much Fergie's team. I'm not surprised at the players' reaction: new manager, style of play, training and wholesale backroom staff changes. This is a sea-change and more changes will inevitably follow. You'll go through this period of crisis until Moyes settles in and starts to build his team, much as Fergie did before him. However, in this modern world of quick fixes and instantaneous gratification, will the club and fans give him the time and money he needs? That's the crux of the matter. It may be painful for Man Utd fans and enjoyable for rival fans, but I honestly think Moyes can come good for you ... given time.
No mate, it was Moyes fault that the shot came in, in the first place, as he'd stuck a South American winger at RB again..... I'm surprised he never came in for Tony Hibbert in the window......
Yes. United may not have been 7th. Could have been 4, 5 or 6th? so the transition is painful. We all knew there would be one. This one happened to be more painful than hoped. I will know when/if I want him to go. But not yet.
Don't think anyone here really remembers Fergie's early years. Just imagine if he had gotten the boot after half a season? Moyes needs TIME and SUPPORT. The Fergie era is over, he wasn't going to carry on forever. The whole club needs revamping, and if that means clearing out the deadwood of the Fergie era and starting again, so be it.
You mean an unexpected shot that goes to De Gea is Moyes fault. If a proper right back was there, De Gea will have no shot to save...Great one It is all Moyes fault guys...
I admire the fact that you're prepared to still stand by him. I always feared for him at United, he's trying to fill the shoes of the best there's ever been, but imo he's made the job harder than it needed to be & he looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights. It's getting to the point were he appears to be almost wanting to be put out of his misery, as he lurches from one disappointment to the next....
Having a right back playing at right back, may have indeed stopped the shot coming in, as that's what defenders do like....
SAF has also played Valencia at RB before, so I don't understand why your cussing Moyes for doing it. If you had actually watched the game, then you would have seen that Rafael was getting a lot of the ball down the right hand side, and delivering poor cross after poor cross, so Moyes brought Valencia on for him, as we were 1-0 down, in the hope that he would deliver better crosses than Rafael. With the way Fulham were playing our RB was effectively playing as a Right winger, so I can fully understand why Moyes made that change. Obviously when we went 2-1 up, and Fulham decided to actually come out and play, Valencia was obviously going to have to play RB, as there wasn't a natural RB on the pitch, because we had had to sub our defensive players off to chase the game earlier
Of course they do. you mean a proper defender would ahve stop any shot coming in in 90 minutes? Some will get through, proper defender or not. I am NOT saying these are all DeGea's fault: Cardiff last minute goal (2 points minute lost), Sunderland (last minute fumble, out of cup), Everton: last few minutes (RB nowhere - 2 points lost), Fulham (last minute mess - 2 points lost), and there are more examples of atrocious defending and losing points that way. Moyes have to shoulder some responsibility but the players have to as well. His getting rid of trusted and knowledgeable coaches was a mistake I said at the time as it removed the only link the players had with a successful season. The players are playing **** not because Moyes is the manager but because fergie is not around.
