Not for me, I want Wigan smashed to bits Tuesday. Ok well just an Arsenal win will do.

Arsenal in Champs League please over Spuds, so I'll take a point for us against them last game – with Sunderland taking a point off Spuds would be good too to make it happen.

I expect Wigan to beat Villa in the crunch tie...

I wouldn't have believed it, but I want Callum McManaman, Dave Whelan and Wigan to have a good night on Tuesday ....

    It's a funny old game.

    Humble pie ??
How I said we were fcked back in dec and just scraped staying up the writing was on the wall, we have been an absolute disgrace all season.
The results against liverpool and Sunderland will take years to go away.

It should be the other way round as you said I was crazy to suggest we would be relagation fodder before Xmas.
And i will tell you something else if pardew stays and we do not strengthen we will be having the same conversation this time next year.
    Over the bloody moon tho

Look stop sitting on the fence and just tell us who the hell you want to go down.
All this pointless waffle to try and avoid giving a straight answer is starting to grate.

Its a win-win situation and its lovely mate as I really didn't think we had it in us to win today. So If Wigan lose on Tuesday - down - and if they win Sunderland are really in the ****.

Not bothered about Wigan now, we are safe and that's all that matters.

And if it comes down to Wigan v Villa then it really will be win / win.

I might even go along to watch one set of fans cry. I'm sure there will be spare seats.

It really couldn't be any better this season. Wigan, Villa or Sunderland. Someone has a great sense of humour

The only sad thing is it couldn't be Wigan AND Villa. But perhaps I'm just being greedy.
Would prefer to see the Mackems stay up, but just. 17th for them would suit me.

Every season. I want Wigan to win on Tuesday so they sweat but we need the derbies. I think Id prefer Wigan down. Villa fans were pricks of course but I respect their manager and their policy of bringing through young players this season is heartening as an England fan. I firmly believe this should be the norm and would result in a much better PL. Wigan and Dave Whelan I really dislike after the McManaman debacle etc. Martinez gets off because at least he tries to play football properly.

One prospect for Wigan dropping amuses me.

If we've struggled to cope with the Europa this year in the Prem League can you imagine the hell juggling fixtures in the Championship?

I know Birmingham had the same problem recently and I don't recall it doing them many favours, but phew that would be a long campaign.

Could end up playing 4 games in just over a week, or the Championship season will end and Wigan will have 15 games in hand.

More hindrance than a help and with Martinez the next Everton boss it don't bode well...
